0/10 if I could. They had me sitting on the side of the busiest interstate in my area for 3 hours. I pay every month for roadside but the companies could not locate my account or information making me have to pay out of pocket. All I needed was a spare put on. I paid after an hour of the run-around & then finally was told you don’t have to pay yet wait til the rescue is complete - they will be there in 1 hour. I waited a hour and a half to then be told my rescue was cancelled due to no payment! These people are a JOKE. So incompetent and so utterly disgraceful at the lack of compassion they have for humans in NEED OF IMMEDIATE HELP. Now I’m told I’m not eligible for a refund after telling me I needed to print the digital receipt and send it to a PO???? But after losing my temper on all of them finally I was informed it will be in my account in 24 hours LOL. Just call someone else & pay what you got to pay. Don’t waste your time.

Called at 1:46 pm with flat tire. Received a text with name of service provider and ETA of 3:30 -4:00. No show so I called Service Provider and got a voicemail. Opened chat with Allstate and they began looking into it. Kept replying please be patient we're trying to reach the provider. Finally after several minutes said they would need to dispatch a different service provider. Original company canceled. I was not notified but left sitting. After calling member services and 45 minutes of please be patient messages on the chat they did send a text stating another provider has been assigned and ETA is 5:50 -6:30. If they had advised of cancelation by first service provider I might have been able to find someone in the area during normal business hours. There is nothing acceptable about a 4+ hour wait for a service call, and the lack of communication was even worse.

What a terrible experience! First time using the service and they got an “F” -will not be renewing this. Thankfully it was me and not my wife that didn’t need service. They took 2 hrs, cancelled, then another service wanted me to pay almost $70 in tolls before they would come. Terrible.

Worst company ever didn’t realize I’ve been a member since 2015 in the past two services I had to wait over three hours for service borroweda family member‘s car that broke down and they would not cover the tow after being a valued member for 15 years .

Really 0 I called to cancel roadside assistance for Allstate I was told that I had to pay 199.00 to cancel policy and that I would get a refund in a month mind you now this was the first time I called. I asked to speak with a manager he told me that there wasn't one I could talk to . I told him this is outrageous I've never heard of such thing I want to talk to a manager he kept replying that there wasn't any manager that I could talk to . I kept repeating myself he ended up hanging the phone up on me. I called a second time and this person also said that I had to pay to get it cancelled. So I said to them why am I paying you'll to cancel a policy that I don't want anymore Cause I had already cancelled my Allstate car insurance with Allstate itself cause I found a lower price for car insurance with State Farm.Upon talking to second person Sam Anderson I was told a whole different price that I had to pay which was 75.00 with this phone call and I was also told a different refund month instead of 1 month I was told that wouldn't get my refund back for three months mind you now the first call was 199.00 in order to cancel & to get refund back for the 199.00 would be in a month. This time it was 75.00 in order to cancel policy and refunded back in three months. I told him I was told that I was told the first time that I called was 199.00 in a refund in 1 month . Now you telling me it's 75.00 just to cancel policy and I want be getting a refund back til. 3 months later. Then Sam goes on to say oh I'll just put a month for your refund. This is real suspicious. I will be calling my bank to let them know that I think a scam is going on with Allstat Roadside assistance they're making up prices and making up refund months to scam money out of their customers and to stop them from taking money out my account paying on this Allstate Roadside assistance.

First of all I miss the days when you could just call and speak to someone rather than doing everything electronically. Having to do it electronically, I did go through and fill everything in- at one point where I had to pick who the member was that needed the help, my husband or myself, I clicked my name but it kept putting it back to my husband's name! No matter how many times I clicked on my name it changed it to my husband- that was the FIRST very annoying thing. The NEXT thing it did was change the address of my location! I put my exact address in because I was in my own driveway, however when I went back to confirm everything they had a completely different address in! When I got the information for the person who was coming to do the service I called him directly and let him know that they gave him the wrong address- he did confirm the address that they sent him and it was indeed the INCORRECT address! The only option they give you is to chat with a robot so I chatted with the robot which didn't get me anywhere and the robot asked if I wanted to be switched to a live assistant to which I answered yes. The robot told me that I had been switched to a live assistant, however the live assistant did not respond at all- this happened twice, where I gave up and started all over again with the same result. Finally I called back and somehow eventually managed to speak to a human being, explaining to her my situation and that I needed someone ASAP because I had to get my son to school. So at that point she canceled the first service person and told me she was sending someone else who could get there in "less than 30 minutes". After waiting another 40 minutes and nobody arriving I called back again only to be told it would be yet another 30 minutes... apparently she had spent that 40 minutes trying to find someone else. If she hadn't canceled the first guy he probably would have already been there by then! The person who finally showed up was wonderful, and was able to bring me down off the ledge. He was very nice, did a great job and had me on my way and no time- so shout out to Eric from The Car EMT for a job well done! But I hope I never have to deal with Allstate Motor Club again! And I will be telling my husband that he needs to switch to somebody else because these people are a waste of our money!

Worst customer service ever

I was a loyal Allstate Motor Club customer for approximately 20 years, but a serious failure in their online payment system finally forced me to leave. After trying to update my payment method online in November 2025, their website repeatedly rejected correct account information. I contacted customer service multiple times, and each time the issue was escalated to technical support with promises of a 7–10 day follow-up. No one ever contacted me, and nothing was ever fixed. Because their secure online payment system remained unusable, my account eventually fell several months behind, leaving me without coverage through no fault of my own. The only “solutions” offered were mailing a check or reading my card number to someone over the phone, which did nothing to resolve the broken system. After 20 years, losing a customer over an unresolved website glitch and repeated ignored escalations is unacceptable. I would strongly caution anyone relying on their online account management or automated payment system.
