Alinea's lessons are thorough, and the app is well-designed and easy to use. I'm not sure why everyone is saying they were scammed. The app clearly lets you know you have to pay to use their services. The education and information they provide, I feel, make up for it. Your investments are monitored by a licensed advisor, and you have the choice to invest by yourself (like I am) or through an AI. My investments have already paid me back for the annual fee of $120, which, if you can't afford, you shouldn't be investing. This is something you do with extra money. I genuinely like this app. I've been using it for 4 months now, checking it nearly every day. It even step-by-step explains how to withdraw your money/investments to your bank account, why it may take a while, and why it may not be as much as you thought. I have recommended it to many of my friends and coworkers, even my family. I think these comments may just not understand what they are signing up for, or what an investment is.

I downloaded the app. They never sent a welcome email and auto-debited $120 from my account a week later and I had not even finished setting it up. No warning or advanced notice like other investment apps do, etc.

Recovery possible and a huge responsibility. REFUND BACK success is not a debate

This is an awful app. They connected my bank account just to get into the app but I thought they were just connecting it. However, they charged my card $120 fee before I could even see what it was about. It is a complete scam. Dont waste your time and just use robinhood or any other invest app. Pretty terrible that Women are advertising this to women just to scam them.

Scrolling my bank account today and noticed that I was charged $120 from a company I did not recognize. Scrolled further and found a second charge. Looked in to the company and they seemed somewhat familiar. If I’m remembering correctly I came across a tik tok ad from them and downloaded to check it out. It wasn’t of interest so deleted it. I have no idea how they got access to my banking account as this is an account I use solely for credit card auto billing and direct deposit from my job. From what I’ve found out from other reviews, they have a scammy hidden year subscription that is recurring with no notification. To make matters worse, it’s nearly impossible to find a means to contact their customer service and now I’m out $240. If you’re reading this, I beg you not to download this app and fall victim to their predatory business practices. This is absolutely disgusting.

Was extremely disappointed in Alinea. I would just stick to companies like Robinhood.

they basically robbed me. i had no account and they proceeded to take the yearly subscription ($120) out of my banking account AGAIN WHEN I HAD NO ACCOUNT SIGN UP. I WANT MY MONEY BACK

I was scammed out of $120. Do NOT use this app!! Avoid at all cost!! I wish I would have done more research before ever downloading.
