This is an update to an earlier review I wrote at the start of my journey on March 16th. Almost 2 months in and I now understand why all of these reviews only discuss customer service. It’s really how they get you. After promising to fix overbites and crossbites in my initial online chat, which is what I specifically wanted to make sure could happen before proceeding, it seems neither of these can be addressed and what they are projecting for my smile seems to make my mild overbite worse and only adjusts the front teeth. I am also surprised that they are only projecting a 6-7 week treatment when they advertise an average of 4-6 months. Seems like more could be done but they’d rather bank the money and produce a short and less costly treatment for themselves. I originally wanted to only pay for the $50.00 smile kit to make sure I knew what I was getting into, but the customer service from Alice reeled me in to pay the full price and now I deeply regret not listening to my instincts. Advice: pay for the $50.00 smile kit first and see your projection before committing, even if it delays getting your treatment started. My journey isn’t over yet as I have not approved my treatment plan yet, so if anything changes, I will definitely come back to update.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced! Throughout the whole time I have been working with this company the communication has been horrible. Both in details on how to get the forms completed and back to the company (told me after the fact that I needed to do multiple things and keep items that I sent back with the forms to the company), and during the use of the aligners (continued to harass me via email about pictures, even though I sent them to the company). Overall I wish I would have gone with a different company even if it was slightly more expensive. I just called to request a new set of the final aligner - the retainers. As all of you know, nothing lasts forever and I wanted to have a back up set to use when the first set wears out or breaks. This was next to impossible to complete. I will be requesting this from my dentist instead - they at least understand English.

After 6 months finishing the aligners, my teeth look worse than when I started. Initially, my problem was that one of my incisors beside my front tooth was overlapping... now I have huge gaps on each side of my front teeth. The incisors are still twisted. It looks nothing like the result in the treatment plan. Alignerco is asking for another $250 to fix the problem. I wish I could post pictures. The gaps are horrible. I know they are going to respond with the canned "I apologize for the inconvenience... call us" I have communicated with them several times. The only resolution is to continue paying for "refinements". How many $250 refinements will I need? It wasn't that big of a problem when I started. I should have left my teeth alone.

This website and company are a TOTAL SCAM!!!!!!!! I paid in full for my aligners On January 18th and still haven;t gotten them. I have contacted them SEVERAL times and I am given a different excuse every time. I can't get what I paid for and they wont give me a refund.

Aligners did not fit. Contacted customer service several times within a two month period and was told they would send to their experts, never hearing back with a solution. I would suggest to look into an aligner company that does have some additional support to solve issues. I have not been able to wear these aligners that I paid in full for.

I am not satisfied with Alignerco at all, Alignerco does not refund my money. This is not a reliable teeth correction company. I want to correct only one of my canine, but Alignerco did not correct this tooth, instead created a plan not professional at all to create two big gaps in both sides of canines, and bottom 4 teeth have a lot of space between front central and lateral incisors. Looks so ugly.

They screwed up my first set and my teeth didn't line up at the end. They would only try to help me fix it after I left bad reviews and asked for a refund, but they wouldn't help me until I removed the bad reviews. Now it has been a full year and two months since I ordered and they still haven't sent me replacements. Communication is awful and customer service is terrible. Don't give them your money. This review will stay until they fix my teeth. Update 1/12/23: After threatening to get a lawyer involved, they finally caved and sent me replacements. I have not heard from them since. The replacements are better than the first set, but they have not been reaching out to see how they are, asking for confirmation that everything feels ok or pictures, and just generally do not seem interested in hearing from me again. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra $200 for a good company who will follow through.

Overall I would not recommend this company for aligners. Everything started out pretty wonderful in the beginning, but as time went on the experience worsened. I had to email and remind them twice to make and mail the next few steps of aligners I needed to continue treatment. Also, it seemed like the person emailing me knew nothing about my treatment. She gave me the wrong directions a few times (directions for all day aligners instead of night only aligners) and the incorrect step of aligners I was currently using and didn’t seem to know which retainer I was being sent. Nearing the end of treatment for my top teeth, I began noticing that my teeth were not going to look as projected and what I signed off on. Alignerco was uninterested in even addressing the issue at the time. I am now on my last set of aligners for my top teeth and sadly, they are not straight and do not look like the image I signed off on. My teeth were only mildly crowded to begin with so I don’t think it was an impossible task to get them straight. I am going to be reaching out to the company again with the dissatisfaction of my top teeth and hopefully I will be able to come back and change my review. As for now though, I don’t recommend using this company.
