My teeth ended up in weird places so my bite no longer matched. Then my retainers broke and they wouldn't replace them for free (despite breaking 9months prior to their life expectancy). So I complained, they said I needed an adjustment and that would be another $200. I also got black staining on my upper molars that came in during the time of my "treatment." Now that I stopped treatment (after 1 year of treatment and 3 months of retainers) it has been another 3 months and my teeth have gone back to where they were before I started with the company, just more damaged now.

I’ve spent hours and hours and hours on the phone with these people. They are dishonest and deceptive. I started treatment with them. And they said my treatment plan would be four months. I got ten aligners. That you wear for ten days each. That’s 100 days. Slightly over 3 months. I bought the aligners and agreed to make monthly payments. Because they said they could have my teeth straight in four months. I’m getting married this month. And wanted to have the treatment complete by the time I get married. The treatment plan with their competitors bite was six months and when I started treatment, I was about five months away from getting married so I went with alignerco because of the four-month treatment plan. At no point when you’re signing up, do they tell you they will not send you all your aligners until you’re seven or eight month payment plan is complete even I called originally and ask them about it and they told me originally that all of the aligners would be shipped out immediately once they were fabricated so I went ahead place the down payment and made payments faithfully every month for months never being late two months before I get married I realize I don’t have the rest of my aligners and I contact them on the phone. Their customer service is terrible. Absolutely terrible that a loan I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t survive business because of their terrible customer service one person says one thing another says another thing, and nobody knows what anybody else says . When I try contacting them, they start arguing with me on the phone and telling me that no we didn’t tell you that you had a four month treatment plan. We told you that you have a six month treatment plan despite the fact that I have a piece of paper that says four months treatment plan on it from them the payment plan is six months total usually six or seven months, depending on how the dates work out so they change their story to fit with the payment plan and Andrew their manager argues with me unprofessionally and repeatedly tells me I’m wrong that they did not tell me it’s a four month treatment plan even though I have a piece of paper in my hand from them that says it’s a four month treatment plan also despite the simple math that he knows they sent me 10 aligners or they were supposed to send me to the lighters and the aligners go for 10 days each. Obviously if you do the math that’s 100 days total so I’m not sure how he gets six months out of 100 days but your call them they won’t call you back They’ll tell you one thing and do another. This is an absolutely terrible company. My teeth did not even get straight when I talk to them about my teeth not being straight they now tell me that we can’t fix everything perfectly but you can pay us more and will do some extra liners just to get them a little bit straighter for you. When you begin treatment with them, they do a smile projection and they show you what your teeth will look like when the treatment plan is done they don’t tell you at any point that it could not look like this they give You , the 3-D image ask you to approve it and at the end of the treatment when your teeth do not look like that, they tell you that they can make them look like that if you pay them more money to get more aligners, this company is deceptive. They won’t keep up with their word stay away from this company stay away the liners break, extremely easily extremely easily, and just chewing can break your liner. My first liner broke within two days of having it and they won’t replace them for free. You have to buy more stay away from this company save your money you’d be better off if you just got a plastic Coke bottle and molded it to your teeth and hope for the best.

This has been the worst experience in my lifetime with a company. I made it clear to Alignerco that I was not going to move forward with their treatment plan because it was moving my teeth back into an alignment that I had corrected years ago. Here is what I find to be terrifying: when I refused the treatment plan they asked me to send them photos of what I wanted my teeth to look like. I sent them photos but I also told them I'm not an orthodontist. So, I visited a local orthodontist, showed him the treatment plan and he explained to me that the treatment plan Alignerco offered me was not orthodontically sound. Bottom line, I did not approve the treatment plan Alignerco offered and I never made an order. I asked Alignerco for a full refund. They refused, but I stilI continue to be charged by the company financing the program (Affirm). Affirm said they can't cancel the debt themselves. They have to receive a cancellation notice from Alignerco. And if I don't pay Affirm, it will ruin my credit. I had to file a complaint with a Better Business Bureau (Alignerco has an F rating from the BBB). The BBB tried to get a response from Alignerco and they were unsuccessful. That is to say, no one from Alignerco responded to that BBB. That means you have no protection as a consumer. I contacted the Georgia Board of Dentistry to let them know that Alignerco was charging me for a dental treatment plan that I did not approve. There were no aligners made or sent to me because I did not approve them. Imagine having a company trying to force you to have a medical procedure you do not want to have and are holding your money hostage by refusing to cancel the service you have made clear you do not want. I was harassed by their resolution team member (James Myles). He said that he was not wavered when I told him I was going to have to seek legal assistance while at the same time he was trying to get me to tell him what I wanted for my teeth as if I was a licensed orthodontist. His emails were so disturbing, I made a formal request for him to stop emailing me. Now I've had to secure an attorney to send official demand letters to Affirm (the finance company) and Alignerco. Consumers should not have to endure this kind of dishonest business dealing. To be clear, I did not make an order and I require a full refund. Their representatives asked me to send them photos of what I wanted my teeth to look like. If Alignerco has a team of experts, why would they ask for my advice? I'm not a licensed orthodontist. I'm terribly disappointed that I have had to go through so much effort to get my money back for a service I never received. My initial contact with Alignerco occurred sometime at the end of August 2022, I believe. I asked for a refund in September 2022. Now it is November 2022. I will continue to push forward until I have a full refund. Update: This issue has been addressed by the company and I am happy to report we are working toward resolution.

I ordered aligners and this is the last step. Clearly as you could see my teeth will not be straight when I will finish. I contacted them ask them to send me more aligners and they said that they cannot get it more straight. I tried over and over again to get their help. How come a company promises to straighten teeth when they clearly say to me they can’t do it. I asked for a refund so I’ll use a different company who could straighten my teeth and they refused.

THEY ARE NOT CERTIFIED DENTIST This company is messing the the right one I’m filling a class a,a malpractice law Suit & bridging for fake reviews this company is not certified dentists I received my set of aligners and they are not for a normal human mouth alignment unless you want a ridiculously non human wide smile I told them about the problem the guy I spoke to that told me he the manager of the company told me there’s nothing they can do they are not going to redo them they already been shipped nor give me a re refund they even offered me to a 30 discount if I wrote good reviews on all 4 platforms here’s the video they didn’t know I was recording this company is going to get shut down real soon

Should be a 0 star review. Our experience with Alignerco has been one of frustration and disbelief. They provided a defective product that results in debilitating injury to my wife's dental health, wasted our time by dismissively telling us we should just file down parts of the aligner when it wouldn't address the defect issue, held the treatment hostage by demanding $300 to refabricate their defective aligner, and after nearly a month of email exchanges has refused to refund us. Instead they dared to ask us to mail the aligners in so they could file them down themselves in response to our dissatisfaction and intent to escalate. Not a solution. I have no interest in continuing to work with a company that will injure my wife's health, hold it hostage for over 1/3rd the cost of the treatment paid, and waste our time with non-solutions. Basically, if anything goes wrong in the process, the customer is expected to cover all the costs. It isn't until you fight back that they try to "negotiate". If you can even call it that. The lower aligner is malformed causing a gap between the teeth and the aligner. Causing wounds and ulcers of the mouth as the bulging plastic slices against the tongue. She couldn't eat, drink, or speak without pain. This cannot be fixed with filing. You would have to remove so much material that you would compromise the aligner's ability to do its intended purpose. Effectively cutting off teeth from the aligner. Refabrication is absolutely necessary. By the company's own admission this is not a case of "refinement". They made it clear in the sales process that if we did not use the impressions kit properly that would be used to make the aligners then we would have to pay for a new kit. Understandable. Those are $50. However their licensed dental experts approved the impressions and treatment plan without any reservations. Which they also admit. This means that the defect arose in fabrication. That is the company's responsibility. Not the customer's fault. I am not liable for a company's mistakes. Avoid this company if you need aligners. You will save yourself a lot of time and frustration. You are effectively financially punished for anything that goes wrong.

Appalled. I would say "you get what you pay for" with using a budget company but you don't even get that. My final results do NOT look like the projected results and I'm now being asked to pay more money for a refinement treatment. Moreover, I had issues with this company throughout: I chose alignerco because: price point, option for night only aligners, and they ship to overseas military addresses. Why I would not make that same decision again: The customer service is an abomination. Do not mess with something as important your teeth unless you're prepared to suffer consequences: either permanent damage or seeking outside consultation because alignerco avoids giving real consultations and does NOT address concerns and questions you have. Additionally, it took so long getting responses and sending out my aligners that my teeth shifted even more and had to wear the first very painful step for over a month for it to begin fitting. I spent days waiting for simple things (a phone representative promised to send me a USPS label due to using military post and after several days contacted customer service to be told this was misinformation). I've been sending regular photos and the company generally responds with generic copy/ paste messages, even once pasting another customer's name into their response to me. Some of the m questions and concerns I've asked: 1. bottom aligner never sets against the teeth no matter how long I chew on the chewy or how long I spend on a step 2. My bottom and top teeth were no longer biting against each other 3. My gums started feeling more sensitive and I could see the outlines of my teeth underneath the gums on the top

You get what you pay for here. They will nickel and dime you at every step. Just go with a more trusted company like Smile Direct Club. AlignerCo may seem cheaper at first but you will end up paying more in the end.
