This company will screw up your teeth worse than before and charge you to "maybe" fix them.
This is a classic you get what you pay for lesson. Alignerco seems much more reasonably priced than it's competitors and and there's a reason why. This company is cheap! They nickel and dime you for everything. They make you pay up front before you even get an impression and promise they will help you. This should be a warning sign. First problem started when I paid up front and the plan they sent me wouldn't solve half the issues they said it would (for reference Smile Direct Club was way faster, do a free consultation and kept going til I found one that worked). They refused to refund despite the fact that they would not provide the service promised. I was angry but couldn't get by money back and moved ahead with it. Got the kit and some of them were painful but it worked out fairly well. Didn't fix all the issues I had but they said that "it'd be future dental work cheaper" gee thanks guys. Then came time to use the retainers. First one was fine, pretty flimsy and wore out quickly so I quickly had to purchase a new one. When I did it came broken due to being inadequately packaged in a thin envelope (I think something heavy was placed on top) had to fight with them for OVER A MONTH to get them to replace it and send it in a box. Next thing that happens? The second retainer screwed up my bite; my bottom teeth no longer fit behind my top teeth. An issue I never had before, during, or while I had the first retainer. But the second retainer gave me a worse condition than I had at the start of the treatment! Their response "Huh that's weird, we might be able to fix it for $200." And issue they caused, they might (they said 80%-90%) be able to fix for the low price of another $200!!! Tried customer service and they said "nope wasn't the retainer, I acknowledge that it couldn't be literally anything else but definitely not the retainer." They also tried to tell me that it was because I didn't follow the plan (not true) and that I always had that issue (very not true, they have before and after pictures so they know this is nonsense). This company is a scam and should not be allowed to operate. I'm going to try to get my money back but stay away! Tldr: This company will screw up your teeth worse than before and charge you to "maybe" fix them.
