A pretty good experience...
My experience getting aligners was smooth - I did the at home impressions, received information over email about what would happen, and got all the aligners by mail. My upper teeth were not too crooked (they had a bit of weird gaps, and they came out super great. My lower teeth, on the other hand, were super crowded, and one tooth was fully behind two other teeth. Going through the aligner process fully straightened these teeth, but I had a complication. My lip attaches to the teeth at a really high location, and ended up pulling at the gums quite a lot near the tooth that had been behind the others. I ultimately ended up having to get a gum graft to fix it. Apparently this complication happens reasonably often regardless of aligner company (which I didn't know when I purchased), so I don't blame the company for it, but I wish I'd known that before deciding to do it. Also, I didn't realize that basically I'd need to wear retainers forever. It's been 3 years and now my teeth are still straight, but I need to wear the retainer every night to keep them that way.
