I was a skeptic until I couldn't find a reason to be skeptical.
I spent at least 6 months researching options for a "hands off" investment strategy that could offer the potential for higher than average returns. Algorithmic trading kept coming to the forefront of my search. I was extremely skeptical of the concept because it was very foreign to me as a retail investor, so I went down the rabbit hole researching several of the algorithmic trading platforms available.
Advertised returns for many companies seemed too good to be true and further research corroborated these suspicions until I found Algo Exchange. While the information available on any of these platforms are somewhat limited, I read through all the information and every review, video, and forum comment I could find to better understand the company. Then I sat on the sidelines for a few months watching for anything suspicious to surface. Finally, I set up a phone call.
Blake with Algo Exchange promptly answered all of my questions over the phone as well as several subsequent emails. My obvious skepticism was always met with honest and straight forward answers. He even provided me with current users that I could contact, and I reached out to them with even more questions. After months of digging I couldn't find any reason not to take the plunge.
One thing to note is that I started working with Algo Exchange while keeping two points in mind: First, there is always risk. Without risk there is no reward. I choose Algo Exchange because they apparently try to focus their risk on the short term in an effort to deliver consistent long term returns, This is evident in their numbers. Second, I was determined not to fall victim to my own emotions. I knew that there was a risk of short term drawdown and I didn't want to fall victim to the consternation seemingly faced by several other reviewers. I was determined to weather any storm and only planned to reevaluate my decision after a year had passed.
With this perspective in mind I looked at the options available for the equity ammount I had put aside for this platform. I looked at which system had the most ground to make up to meet its previous year's numbers and that turned out to be Apollo. With the help and guidance of my account rep Wil, setting up my 3rd party trading platform and connecting the algorithms was simple and straight forward. I started in June, sat back, and watched the growth with subsequent monthly returns coming in at +15.4%, +3%, -6.2%, and returns for this month are currently at +34.6%!
My emotions are telling me to dump more capital into this account, or maybe try another one of Algo Exchange's algorithms with some ground to make up. However, I was so focused on ignoring negative emotional impulses that I forgot to consider the positive emotional impulses, which I am currently faced with. We'll see what happens with this...
All the elements of my experience with Algo Exchange thus far including customer service, straight forward and honest information, online resources, etc.. Have been top notch. It is obvious that this is a company focused on sustainable and healthy growth while only improving their current customer's experience. So while my experience thus far with Algo Exchange is limited to the aforementioned summary, I would recommend anyone looking for long term gains that exceed most traditional passive investment options, and who can stomach the inevitable short term drawdowns, to give Algo Exchange a try. The upfront cost of entry can be a mental hurdle, but I have found it to be worth it thus far. More updates to come.

I lost 20k out of 50k in the past 5-6 months
I lost 20k out of 50k in the past 5 months. I started with the Rapter followed the suggestion from the Algo Exchange Team, and it was very bad. Then, I changed two more times, but it still looks pretty bad. You do not check the at all time performance, but instead check the past 12, 6, or 3 months, and you will see.
They will remove my review again if I write too much negative about them. Please be careful before you jump in.
Response from Algo ExchangeSep 20, 2025
Dear customer,
We understand how frustrating a drawdown can be. However, Algo Exchange is NOT designed to be a single-system product, and Raptor was disclosed as a risk-on strategy before we allowed any subscribers to it, as it realized a 90%+ gain in 2024 with a 35% drawdown, so that level of drawdown is normal for that strategy. That being said, users are ALWAYS encouraged to use a combination of strategies to mitigate risk, and achieve smoother results.
Based on your review, it seems you used one strategy and then hopped around to others - this is the WORST thing someone can do, as this subjects you to the Dunning-Kruger effect. We would be happy to go over our Portfolio Builder tool with you, so you can see how this would have not only cut your drawdown in half, but provided you with a smoother experience overall.

Review of Algo Exchange
Review of Algo Exchange: Disappointing Performance
Over the past six months, my experience with Algo Exchange has been underwhelming, to say the least. While the platform initially seemed promising with its range of algorithmic trading strategies, the recent performance has been consistently poor, leaving much to be desired.
Performance Issues: The algorithms have struggled to adapt to changing market conditions, resulting in significant losses. What was once marketed as a robust and adaptive system now feels unreliable and outdated.
Transparency Concerns: There has been a noticeable lack of clear communication regarding the reasons behind the underperformance. Poor market conditions are a weak argument, giving that algo trading should adapt to the current market conditions. Investors deserve detailed updates and explanations, but instead, the platform has provided vague reassurances that do little to restore confidence.
Customer Support: While the support team is polite, their responses often feel generic and unhelpful. When dealing with financial losses, users need actionable solutions, not canned replies.
Value for Money: Given the recent results, the fees associated with the platform feel unjustified. I understand that Algo Exchange is entitled to make money but monthly fees for operations is not justified with its hefty initiation fee. It’s hard to justify paying for a service that fails to deliver on its core promise of consistent returns.
In conclusion, while Algo Exchange may have had a strong start, its recent track record raises serious concerns. I would advise potential users to proceed with caution and explore alternative platforms until Algo Exchange demonstrates a clear and sustained improvement in performance.
Why is this first time I’m hearing about portfolio builder tool??
Response from Algo ExchangeSep 19, 2025
Jack,
We are sorry to hear that you have had a less than stellar experience with Algo Exchange so far, and we would love the opportunity to discuss your experience together and come up with an action plan.
As you know, Algo Exchange is NOT a one-size-fits-all product. It is a platform that provides you with access to MANY systems so that users can diversify their capital across them how they see fit. That being said, some systems are doing great this year, and some systems are doing not-so-great. Our portfolio builder tool is an effective solution in modeling out a mix of systems to provide the best long term experience.
System Performance to Date (excluding lower capital variants):
Cairo Algo: +33.8%
Tango Algo: +23.8%
Apollo Algo: +22.8%
Predator Algo: +21.4%
Falcon Algo: +12.9%
Blackhawk Algo: +2.6%
Millennium Algo: -2.6%
Spartan Algo: -14%
Cobra Algo: -19%
Pershing Algo: -27.5%
Raptor Algo (Delisted): -30%
With the above performance in mind, the user experience may vary if one chooses an individual strategy, and as with all forms of successful investing - diversification is key. These models are a set of rules, and do not adapt to chase markets. The most effective way to use our platform is through diversification of systems. We would be happy to walk you through our Portfolio Builder so you can get the best idea of how to effectively use our product. We look forward to speaking with you.

Avoid this Company
UPDATE 10-14-25: Algo Exchange flagged this review once again by claiming that it was “defamatory.” Not only is this company untrustworthy, but they also despise customer transparency. They are requiring me to edit this review to remove FACTUAL INFORMATION about their company’s business performance. Shame on Trustpilot for allowing this to happen. I’ve lost a net amount of roughly $17,000 using this company, and I’m in the process of filing a lawsuit against them. If anyone has also been financially harmed by this company, feel free to reach out.
Last month, Algo Exchange flagged my previous review with Trustpilot from July by claiming that it was “defamatory.” Ironic enough, this is the same company that boasts transparency. Apparently, in their world, “transparency” means censoring anything that doesn’t fit their narrative. Every word of my review was factual, but I suppose facts can be inconvenient. I’m sure they’ll probably try to get this review removed as well. If it disappears, you’ll know why. For anyone reading this review, I encourage you to fact check me.
Since May, when I stopped using their algos, I’ve been attempting to get a refund from this company without any success. Then, last month, Algo Exchange reached out and dangled the possibility of refunding my original $13,000 starting fee but no more. In order for this to occur, I had to sign an NDA. (Trustpilot: This is factual and I have text messages that I’m happy to submit to prove this). If I signed the NDA, I could not post any further reviews anywhere about their company. That’s right. If that doesn’t sound like corruption, I’m not sure what else to call it. But I told him to send the NDA over so I could at least review it with my attorney, but after a month of excuses and empty promises, nothing has materialized, and I still have yet to receive it. And honestly, I doubt I ever will at this point.
All I’ve ever asked for is a refund and not a penny more. After being swindled out of over $18,000 in fees for a pathetic 1.34% return, I figured the least they could do was give me my money back. After all, they did provide information in September 2024 demonstrating that I should expect to receive a “conversative” 50-70% annualized rate of the return using their algos. The reality is, the only way to get a refund from this company is most likely through legal action. Cumulatively, I’ve lost a total of roughly $17,000 with this company. A company that operates like this has no business holding a license.
Perhaps they needed some time to bury my previous review from July 2025 with multiple presumably fake 5-star reviews to generate more business. I mean, did they really need to post eleven 5-star reviews after I posted my review from July? Subtle, right? If they were really trying to be convincing, maybe they could have tossed in a few 4-star reviews to make it look less desperate. I’m sure they’ll try to discredit what I’m saying, but don’t worry—I’ll break down exactly why those “reviews” don’t pass the smell test in just a minute.
After more than two-thirds through this year, let’s take a look at what paying this company tens of thousands in fees really buys you as of today 9/3/25:
Cairo 31.2%
Predator 27.3%
Tango 26.4%
Falcon 7.4%
Blackhawk 4.3%
Millennium -3.6%
Falcon V3 -5.5%
Millennium V2 -5.9%
Apollo -6.5%
Falcon V2 -6.9%
Spartan -8.4%
Cobra -15.1%
Raptor V3 -25.2%
Pershing -27.4%
Raptor V2 -29.4%
Average Return: -0.249%
But these returns are even WORSE than the cumulative returns from July and yet they receive nothing but praise? I don’t know of anyone who would be willing to pay for those returns. That’s why I believe the reviews are most likely fake. That’s just my opinion. Who in their right mind drops thousands of dollars for negative returns AND then posts glowing 5-star reviews about it? Please. Let’s not insult basic intelligence.
My only goal here is to warn potential investors before they lose thousands of dollars with this company. If I had access to all of the information I have now, I would have ran in the other direction. However, considering that I’m still their “client,” I have the unique privilege of having access to all of the performance data of their algorithms.
If you’re considering starting with this company, you need to demand to see their website containing all of the algorithm performance data. You’ll see that the numbers I’m reporting are accurate. If they claim that their performance data on their website is only for paying customers, that’s your cue to run in the other direction. Unfortunately, I didn’t press them for this information when I first got started because I didn’t know it existed. Now I do.
I’ll be sure to post another update or two by year’s end with more performance data—assuming this company is still around.
Response from Algo ExchangeSep 3, 2025
We encourage all prospective clients to read the response to this review:
David,
We did not send you an NDA in exchange for a refund. All of our licenses are non-refundable, and the agreement we discussed with you was an exception to that rule, serving as a release of services to you and a termination of the license, this is called a Refund Agreement.
We've contacted you multiple times to resolve your concerns with little success in reaching you.
Additionally, your calculation of average performance returns is incorrect, as no user would use an original version of a strategy along with the lower capital versions (V2 and V3). We share our performance results on our YouTube channel for anyone to see, and are happy to post them here below.
The average of all Algo Exchange strategies from 2021 to Present (Sept 3 2025) is:
2025: +12.1%
2024: +66.3%
2023: +43.8%
2022: +42.8%
2021: +82.5%
The average return of this portfolio of systems is: +50.5% annually, with a max historical drawdown of 19.3%. As always, we recommend a long-term approach to our systems focusing on yearly gains. This is not, and has never been, marketed as a get-rich-quick solution.
This is calculated by combining the performance of Tango, Falcon, Cairo, Raptor, Millennium, Spartan, Predator, Blackhawk, and Pershing all together. We would be happy to show you how to do this through the Portfolio Builder tool so you could see the same results on your end.
You purchased a license that allows you to use all of our systems together - which is the best way to use our platform as illustrated above, yet you did not do this, and rightfully so that is your choice, but Algo Exchange is not a one-trick-pony with a one-size fits all strategy. We provide multiple strategies that operate on U.S. Based and U.S. Regulated Infrastructure. How you deploy your capital on the platform is entirely in your control. The more systems a user runs, the higher their odds of success. If you had used our software in this manner, you likely would have had better results than +1.3%. We also recommend at least 1 year of use, but again, this is entirely in your control. Nothing we have done displays recklessness, negligence, or deception. Users will have varying experiences based on their selected combination of strategies and the duration in which they use them.
Also, we have the original call recording of your interaction with our company. All results and historical performance were clearly shown to you, with no stone left unturned, as this is our standard procedure. You were given access to this data immediately after purchasing, and continued to use our services for months. No one ever promised/guaranteed any type of future performance. This is not something our company does or would ever do, as disclosed on the front page of our website. We would be happy to share this with you as well.
Lastly, your Trustpilot account has only been used to write 2 reviews, both of which have been for our company. A company that has been attempting to reach out to you to help you despite all of your threats against us. You experienced positive results with our systems, as you have mentioned, despite the size of these returns not being to your satisfaction. We've offered to make exceptions for you, and you want us to refund every cent paid to us despite using our service to successfully make money. This is not right.

Learn Patience
I have been using Algo Exchange for over a month now with a 100k account cash (no prop firm stuff). One thing I can say is that I am very slow to commit to anything regarding unconventional ways of making money. I have been in communication with the owner Austin, for years from his full-time day trading days and he is personally a very successful trader. He has always made himself available to answer my questions and/or concerns and even video chatted with me when I asked him to. He is someone I trust and hold a lot of admiration for what he has created at Algo Exchange. If anyone is approaching this with the thought of getting rich overnight, you are mistaken. Each algo operates differently. Trading capital, how many systems you're using, and market conditions all play a part in outcomes when participating in this type of trading platform. It takes TIME! This week 8/4/2025 has been my most successful week with $8200 in total gains including a -1800 loss, but I had multiple four figure days and today being the biggest with a $5k trade! If you are someone who does not have the ability to accept the wins and the losses and the good and the bad this is not for you, but if you understand the ebbs and flows of trading and understand drawdowns are a part of this industry, you can be very successful with this. This is not the answer to someone's financial woes. It is a great tool in the toolbox to leverage other things you want to do in your life and serve you, but you have to let it work for you. This is my honest sentiment as someone who takes their time to get involved in anything, but I am also not afraid of risk. Thank you, Austin and the support staff at Algo Exchange.

Disappointed so far
Granted, since I joined Algo in early March, '25, there has been a lot of volatility in the market so for me, the results so far have been disappointing. I have lost a little more than 20% of my initial investment (excluding the licensing costs). At this point, I am hoping to hang in long enough that I will recoup my losses ......eventually.
To be fair, if you look at their performance over the long run, it does appear that most of their algorithms do out perform the market (over time) but the key seems to be sticking to a single algorithm and having a strong constitution to hang in there when the drops come.
Support consists of your assigned representative who helps you understand their dashboard and makes the necessary changes when switching algorithms. All customer/representative contact is conducted via Slack.
I've made the investment so I am going to stick with it and see what it takes to recover. I'll come back and update this review periodically. Stay tuned.
