Clothing StoreReviews of alexander-hampton.com

This company Alexander Hampton is a scamer!!!I orderd a cashmere sweater and received the worst quality polyester sweater. Contacting the company is difficult.I will never buy anything from them agein.

Tried to return pants that were completely the wrong size and got the classic customer service runaround. Endless requests for “more photos,” “different photos,” “more descriptions,” then emails bouncing back and them claiming they hadn’t heard from me. This is pure return friction (“sludge”) making returns so exhausting customers just give up. I did. Donated the items instead. Won’t shop here again.

I would strongly caution anyone considering ordering from Alexander-Hampton. The shoes I received were $35 and are absolute junk. The quality is shockingly poor — cheap materials, poorly constructed, and nothing like what is represented online. After receiving them, I looked further and saw multiple negative reviews describing the exact same issues. That should have been my first clue. When I contacted customer service, the “resolution” offered was either: • A 15% refund (about $5) to keep a defective product OR • Return the item to China at my own expense — quoted at $40–$50 — to receive a full refund on a $35 purchase. Read that again. They expect customers to pay more to return the item than the item itself costs. This is not customer service. It’s a return-avoidance strategy designed to make refunds financially impractical. A reputable company stands behind its product. This company hides behind an overseas return address and policies that effectively prevent legitimate refunds. Save your money. The product quality does not match the marketing, and if there’s an issue, you’ll be stuck. Absolutely unacceptable.

I am beyond disappointed with this experience. I bought a $70 sneaker in the size I always wear and not only did it not look like the picture, it was two sizes too big. I also looked at their return policy and although it did state I would have to cover the shipping cost, it was never stated it was in China. Their solution is either I can get a 15% refund of the $70 and keep the sneakers or return it for $40 to China and only be reimbursed $30. This is a complete scam and I would advise no one to buy from them.

I'm sorry I didn't read these reviews prior to making my purchase of slippers. Shipped directly from China, it took almost a month to receive. The slippers are RUBBER! THEY SMELL STRONGLY OF RUBBER CEMENT, AND ARE SO TOUGH, I CANNOT; WILL NOTWEAR THEM. They never responded to my return request. I'm giving them away. BUYER BEWARE.

If I were able to give this company "0" stars, that would be the most fitting for them. This company has very poor-quality items at a high price. The worst part is that upon requesting a refund, you get the customer service rep named Anna Beckett, who tries to convince you that accepting 25% refund is the best alternative to returning their terrible items that look nothing like the image advertised. To make matters worse, the item was shipped from Philadelphia, PA, yet they want me to return it to an overseas company, resulting in excessive shipping charges. I'm given the run around to receive a full refund for their terrible Jacket. NO I DON'T WANT TO KEEP IT. IT'S STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE SCAMMERS!

I ordered shoes but they are a size too small and they are tight in the big toe area. I have been asking for my refund but continue to be offered a one time replacement with not refund if I accept the replacement. I do not want to chance that a larger size will fit as the design may still be to narrow/tight in the toe area. I hope to get my money refunded but as thi review, I will never do business with this company nor recommend them.

Do not order from this company I repeat do not order from this company… Nothing appears as it looks it is flimsy, suboptimal quality, and to do any return you must pay double the price for it to go to China horrible horrible customer service beware and stay away
