Alchemy BikesReviews of alchemybikes.com

I purchased a new Rogue earlier in '22 and was a bit skeptical, given the new line and lack of reviews. Bryce was phenomenal to work with, as I customized my build kit and peppered him with questions. I've built and bought many previous custom and semi-custom bikes and can say the customer service and process at Alchemy was top notch. I've ridden and raced the bike all year and am very happy with the ride quality and feel. Keep up the great work, Alchemy!

Nice folks. Very knowledgeable and responsive throughout the demo and purchase steps.

First off, the bikes are amazing! But even more importantly, the customer service is top notch. Craig is so helpful and goes above and beyond to ensure a high quality product and experience. Thank you!

Incredible Riding and Beutifully Crafted Bikes with Phenomenal Customer Care.

An amazing experience, friendly and responsive customer service, and most importantly an amazing ride. I’d do it again!

Ordering and pickup at the shop was very smooth, the assembly and setup was some solid customer service.

I originally purchased a custom carbon Ronin from Alchemy. Because I am 5'2" I needed custom geometry and I'm a challenging fit with super short legs and a long torso. It was a pleasure to work with Bryce on the tiniest of details and since I was having a frame built exactly for me, I decided to go with a fully custom blingy paint job. It's essentially a forever bike, right? Why would I get anything less than exactly what I want? The paint job came out so beautifully that I actually cried when I saw it. The bike is fun as hell and I got to stand on the top step with it at a gravel race this summer. Alchemy has been so extremely pleasant and wonderful to work with over the past couple years that I added an Arktos 29 to my fleet. I had never ridden a 29er before and figured since I was so short it would be awkward, but that bike is so much fun and pedals up technical stuff as easily as it bombs down. I did have a little issue with play in the rear triangle, but with some troubleshooting and customer service we got it fixed. I have zero hesitation in recommending Alchemy as a brand and often send clients who are looking to build an exceptional or unique bike to check them out (I'm a bike fitter on the Western Slope). I'm sure I'll be adding another review when I replace my road bike with an Atlas this summer :)

My first experience was building a titanium gravel bike. I brought in the gravel bike I was riding at the time, and a custom road bike that is extremely comfortable to ride. I wanted this Alchemy gravel bike to be as comfortable as my road bike, but could also handle gravel roads like the current gravel bike but also go off the beaten path like a mountain bike. While I didn't need for this new gravel bike to handle technical mountain bike trails, I wanted it to handle single track that had some roots and rocks. What ended up being built was an amazing and comfortable gravel bike that was extremely versatile, stable, and rowdy-FUN! I couldn't be happier with the entire process and I absolutely love my gravel bike! My first experience was great, that I went back when I was looking to upgrade my mountain bike. Alchemy was the ONLY bike shop that had demo bikes. While I would be more comfortable on a small frame, the Arktos 130, that has 'flip chip' where the back wheel could be swapped between 27.5 and 29, the medium frame with the smaller wheel made this bike easy to ride. I'm barely 5'4" and the Arktos 130 mixed wheel pedals easy uphill, goes up and over and down stuff easily with the bigger wheel upfront, but easy to get through turns with the smaller wheel in the back. It feels like it hugs the trail with ease making the flowy stuff fun and fast! N+1!!
