⭐ Extremely Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend We traveled as a group of five passengers with Al Buraq Travels, and unfortunately, our overall experience was extremely stressful and disappointing. One of the biggest problems was the lack of communication and professionalism, particularly from Muhammad. Whenever we asked about transportation, visits, or arrangements, we were repeatedly told, “It is not included in your package,” and then asked to show where it was written on our invoice or voucher. The problem is that we were never provided proper vouchers, and I also did not receive the documentation they kept asking me to show. How can a customer be expected to prove what is included by showing a voucher that the company never provided? Our original booking was handled by Rehan. Whenever I asked to speak with him to clarify what had originally been agreed, I was told that he was sick and not coming to the office. Nobody could tell me when he would return or provide another person who could properly resolve the situation. The worst experience happened on the day we were traveling from Makkah to Madinah. We were a family of five, had an 11:00 AM hotel checkout, and still had no clear information about our vehicle or pickup. There was no proper call or update from Al Buraq Travels. I was repeatedly calling them around 9:00 AM because I was extremely worried about checking out and getting to Madinah, but my calls were not being answered. I then contacted the other transportation company whose details had been provided to us. They told me that I needed to speak with the company I booked through. When I explained that Al Buraq Travels was not answering, I was told that they were also having difficulty reaching them. At that point, I was so stressed that I was prepared to arrange and pay for another vehicle myself rather than be stranded after checkout. I had to personally request the hotel reception to extend our checkout time. Thankfully, the hotel helped us and allowed us to remain until 12:00 PM, but Al Buraq Travels still had not given us the communication or reassurance we should have received. A lady from the other transportation company eventually helped me. She was very kind, professional, and helpful, and I truly appreciated her assistance during such a stressful situation. She also told me that they had experienced communication difficulties and complaints involving this company before. I am sharing this as what was communicated to me at the time. Throughout our trip, instead of feeling supported as customers, we repeatedly felt that our concerns were dismissed. When we asked questions, the response was often rude or simply that something was “not in the package,” followed by demands to show documentation that we had not been provided. For an Umrah journey, families need reliable transportation, clear documentation, respectful communication, and support when something goes wrong. We trusted this company with an important journey for five people, but unfortunately our experience caused unnecessary stress and frustration. Based on our personal experience, I would not recommend Al Buraq Travels. If you are considering booking with them, I strongly suggest getting every service, transportation arrangement, destination, additional charge, invoice, and voucher clearly documented in writing before making your trip.

I am sharing this review based on my personal experience with Al Buraq Travels during my Umrah trip with a group of five people. This trip was a gift from my family, and because it was such an important religious journey for us, we trusted the travel company to provide the transportation, accommodations, and support that had been promised. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing and stressful. One of the biggest problems was transportation. We were promised transportation, but there were multiple occasions when we had to pay for our own taxis and Ubers. This was especially frustrating because transportation was something we were relying on the company to handle. The ziyaarat arrangements were also very disappointing. We were taken to places that were closed, while some places we specifically wanted to visit were refused. At times, we were told things that later turned out not to be true. For example, we were told that Jabal Uhud could not be climbed and that we should not attempt it. We later learned from a local that climbing was allowed and that there were even rides available at the top that could take visitors toward restaurants and other areas. Finding this out later made me feel that we had not been given honest information. There were also situations where additional money seemed to be expected before the drivers would agree to take us somewhere. Even when we were willing to pay, there were occasions when they still refused, saying they were on a tight schedule. This made the ziyaarat experience feel rushed and unnecessarily difficult. Going to Masjid Ayesha for additional Umrah was another major inconvenience. We had to arrange and pay for our own transportation there three separate times. This created additional stress and expense that we did not expect to have to handle ourselves. The transportation itself was also not what I expected. At times, the air conditioning in the vehicle did not work properly, which was especially uncomfortable in the Saudi heat. We were also repeatedly rushed. Drivers told us they would leave us behind if we did not hurry, which made an already stressful journey even more uncomfortable. We were supposed to be enjoying a meaningful religious experience, but instead we often felt pressured to constantly rush. The hotel experience in Madinah was also disappointing. We were promised a five-star hotel, but our experience did not feel anywhere close to what we expected from a five-star property. The beds and overall service were disappointing, and communication was difficult because the staff had trouble understanding English. Considering the expectations that had been set for us, the hotel did not feel like the quality we had been promised. We also had a serious personal incident at the Anjum Hotel in Makkah. While my son was sleeping in the room, his chain went missing. I cannot say who was responsible because I do not have proof, but the incident was extremely upsetting and added to our concerns during the trip. Another major concern was our return flight. Our flight home to the United States was delayed, but Al Buraq did not contact us to inform us about the delay. We had to find out about it ourselves. If we had not checked the flight information independently, we could potentially have been left in a very difficult situation. For a travel company responsible for coordinating an international religious trip, I believe keeping customers informed about major flight changes should be a basic responsibility. I also want to make clear that I personally did not handle most of the communication with the company; my friend handled much of that communication for our group. However, throughout the trip, we experienced behavior from people representing the company that I found unprofessional, including being given information that appeared to be misleading or inaccurate when it benefited them. Overall, this trip was much more stressful than it should have been. We expected reliable transportation, honest communication, reasonable accommodations, organized ziyaarat, and professional treatment. Instead, we experienced additional transportation expenses, rushed schedules, poor communication, disappointing accommodations, uncomfortable transportation, and situations where we felt that our requests were not taken seriously.

Hello, I am a person from their services and I would like to complain about their Package. The Ziyarat people who came for us, would charge us even though it was included in the package? We were always told to "Hurry up", or get left behind. The car's didnt have good ac, it would always be in some old junky car. When we met to Masjid Al Quba, we were rushed to read prayer and not even enjoy the landscape becuase we had around 10-15 minutes to not even look around. When we were in madinah half the things that we went to on the ZIyarat was closed and the people would sometimes lie to us that "Oh yes, its closed we aren't allowed to go" when in reality it would be the total opposite. They could have at least taken us somewhere else, have a better plan. Most of the things we did, we had to do it all by ourselves. Travel outside of Ziyarat, going to makkah, there was nothing else they helped with. Even with our flights delayed that they booked, they didn't give us live updates and we almost missed our flight on the way back if we didn't check the flight statuses ourselvs.

Very Disappointing Experience with Al Buraq Travels I had a very disappointing experience with Al Buraq Travels and, based on my experience, I would not recommend their services. I dealt with a representative named Mohammad, and I was extremely unhappy with the way he communicated with me as a customer. His manner was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Whenever I raised a concern or asked for assistance, I did not feel that I was being treated with basic courtesy or respect. One of my biggest concerns was the additional charges. I had already provided money in advance for the agreed bookings and arrangements, but the bookings were not properly completed. Despite this, I was later charged an additional $200, which I felt was completely unfair, especially because the issue was not caused by me. During my trip, when I asked about transportation back from Ghar Hira, I was quoted an additional 200 SAR. Later, while arranging travel from Madinah to Makkah, I asked about visiting Badr during the journey. Instead of professionally explaining the available options or limitations, Mohammad responded in a very rude and disrespectful manner and simply insisted that it could not be done. Unfortunately, the transportation experience was also disappointing. The vehicles provided were not of the quality I expected, and I was unhappy with the behavior and communication of the drivers who were sent to us. Overall, the service did not match what I had paid for or what I expected from a professional travel company handling an important religious journey. My main concerns were: - Unexpected and additional charges - An extra $200 charge despite problems with the booking arrangements - 200 SAR quoted for transportation from Ghar Hira - Poor-quality transportation/vehicles - Rude and unprofessional communication - Poor customer service from Mohammad - Unhelpful responses when requesting assistance with the Badr visit - A general lack of professionalism in handling customer concerns For an Umrah journey, travelers depend heavily on their travel company for reliable transportation, clear arrangements, transparent pricing, and respectful communication. Unfortunately, that was not my experience with Al Buraq Travels. I am sharing this review so that other travelers can ask for all bookings, transportation arrangements, additional charges, and refund/cancellation terms in writing before making full payment. Based on my personal experience, I would not use Al Buraq Travels again and would not recommend them to my family or friends.

What made my experience great was the destination, three cities in Thailand for an amazingly affordable price. And I had the flexibility to take the tours that I wanted.

AMAZING!! To start out, I was extremely skeptical. I saw an advertisement on Facebook for a trip to the Maldives, which is a place we’ve wanted to explore for our honeymoon. Knowing that scams come in every which way now. I was talking with Dan using the business chat and ended up scheduling a call. After a lot of skepticism and extra research I gave my trust in Dan. He was persistent and informative. After finally putting together the a honeymoon destination and dates, we thought everything was good. With a lot of things going on around the world, flights were cancelled due to war conflicts, I reached out to Dan. He instantly was on it and working to get things rebooked and adjusted as soon as possible. This was a trip out of the movies and it really wouldn’t have been possible without his expertise and due-diligence!
