Very disappointing attitude to customers. Their loyalty system is set up so that it you have a middle name, and you don't mention it in your booking, your points won't get credited! Airport staff have no authority to change FF number for your flight, and after flying customer care refuses to do anything and blames the customer rather than acknowledging their system errors!

One of the worst airline experiences a passenger could ever endure! Akasa Air has left me utterly disappointed with its appalling service, unprofessional staff, and the unacceptable attitude of the supervisor at the counter today, 09/10/2026. The level of service was absolutely disgraceful, and the way passengers were treated was nothing short of infuriating. Based on this experience, I would strongly advise travellers to think twice before choosing this airline. Such a standard of service should never be accepted or encouraged. Today, due to an alleged technical issue with an aircraft, a flight scheduled to land at Calicut International Airport was reportedly diverted to Bangalore. Passengers were left without proper information, clear communication, or adequate assistance, leaving them stranded and confused. Meanwhile, passengers travelling from Calicut to Jeddah were informed of a delay and were not permitted to board. The explanation provided was that an ongoing war or security situation in Saudi Arabia was affecting operations at Jeddah Airport, and that refunds would be processed within seven days. But where is the clarity, accountability, and basic consideration for passengers? What makes this situation even more frustrating is the complete lack of satisfactory explanations. How exactly does the situation in Saudi Arabia explain the diversion of an aircraft that was scheduled to land in Calicut? If these were separate operational issues, why were passengers not given clear, consistent, and transparent explanations? Families travelling with infants and young children, as well as passengers facing visa deadlines and other time-sensitive commitments, were left stranded and distressed. These are not minor inconveniences. They can have serious financial, personal, and emotional consequences. Passengers deserve more than vague explanations, delayed refunds, and an apparent lack of concern from the people responsible for assisting them. An airline’s responsibility does not end when a flight is delayed, diverted, or cancelled. That is precisely when passengers need communication, accountability, and proper assistance the most. I find this entire experience deeply disappointing and unacceptable. The lack of professionalism, the poor handling of the situation, and the failure to provide convincing explanations have seriously undermined my confidence in Akasa Air. Is this what passengers should expect from an airline they trust with their time, money, and safety? Akasa Air owes its affected passengers a clear explanation, a sincere apology, and appropriate assistance—not confusing answers and a promise of a refund within seven days. Until airlines learn to treat passengers with the respect, transparency, and responsibility they deserve, such experiences will continue to damage public trust. I sincerely hope the airline takes this complaint seriously and addresses these failures instead of allowing passengers to suffer the consequences of its poor communication and service.

NEVER EVER BOOK THEM The Varanasi ground staff is so arrogant and rude. They create issue if even 1kg luggage is extra. And even if you try to manage your luggage they creat such a horror show and instigate people around you also to not help you. WORST PPL EVER. EVEN IF FREE, DONT BOOK AKASA.

Very Poor Customer Service and Unprofessional Staff – Akasa Air I had a very frustrating experience with Akasa Air today while travelling from Mumbai to Varanasi. My ticket was issued without generating a PNR and without mentioning my name. After reaching the security check, I was sent back to the Akasa Air help counter to get my ticket reissued with my name and PNR clearly mentioned. When I approached the counter, the staff told me they could not reissue the ticket and asked me to contact customer care. However, customer care gave me the opposite response and instructed me to return to the airport counter. After going back and forth unnecessarily, the same staff member finally reissued my ticket. If the same staff member could resolve the issue the second time, why was it not handled correctly in the first place? This experience reflects poor coordination, a lack of proper training, and an unacceptable attitude towards customer service. Instead of helping passengers efficiently, the staff kept directing me from one place to another, wasting my valuable time and causing unnecessary stress. Akasa Air seriously needs to improve its staff training, communication, accountability, and customer service standards. Passengers deserve professional assistance and a smooth travel experience, not unnecessary inconvenience caused by avoidable mistakes. Extremely disappointing experience. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and ensures other passengers do not face the same situation.

Extremely disappointing experience with Akasa Air today. A 1-hour delay in take-off was frustrating enough, but what followed made the experience even worse. I had pre-booked a meal during web check-in, and at 8:26 PM, I was served a packed meal with raw/undercooked poha as they took 2 hours to reach to my seat 23A and pilot announced we are landing. What was even more disappointing was the response from the staff — instead of acknowledging the issue with seriousness, they were smiling while I raised the concern. Flight delays can happen, and passengers understand that operational challenges are sometimes unavoidable. But basic food quality, accountability and how a genuine customer concern is handled are absolutely within an airline’s control. When a passenger pays in advance for a meal, expecting it to at least be properly prepared is not asking for too much. This experience has seriously damaged my confidence in Akasa Air. Based on what I experienced today, I don't intend to book Akasa Air again. I hope Akasa Air takes such feedback seriously — because customer experience isn't just about getting passengers from one destination to another; it's also about how you treat them when things go wrong. #AkasaAir #CustomerExperience #AirTravel #CustomerService
