I parked my Honda Accord car at the Airpak Newark parking lot on 11/23/19 through 11/30/19. When came back to pick it up I noticed that my back pack which I had left in the trunk was missing. I then located a security guard and reported my experience to him at which time he took my Registration and driver license information in addition, on exiting the parking lot I reported the matter to the clerk at the gate who gave me an incident form to fill out. I did that and was told that I was going to be contacted in due cause. I have since been contacted and was told that they had reviewed their camera recordings and nothing came up but will continue to review the videos to see if anything comes up.

Mr Onyiuke Sorry to hear of your loss but it did not occur in our facility. We have law enforcement on the lot 7 days a week. We have cameras all over. Our drivers our constantly circling the facility 24/7/365. We watched the cameras and not only was nobody near your car for the entire stay, the only people in the lot were other customers and none went near your car.. Your car was locked, so was your trunk. You told officer you spoke too that YOU used your remote to pop your trunk.. Very difficult to believe that someone somehow broke into your trunk, doing no damage, knew you had locked valuables there, took them and then locked your trunk before leaving the lot... So if the bag was missing, we believe your loss happened somewhere else.. The car was locked. You had the key. There was no damage to your car or trunk, There was no one around your car when it was here. You never called the police to report the theft..
