I studied abroad with AIFS in Barcelona, Spain the spring semester of 2019 and it was such an incredible experience! AIFS is a top study abroad program and for good reason. The AIFS staff takes care of you before departure, during, and after and makes the experience the best it can be for all students. Studying Abroad can be a daunting task for some, but AIFS makes it so easy and is there to help you as much as you need along the way. I took a shot in the dark when I initially studied abroad with AIFS but I am so glad I did. I truly believe if I had chosen another program then my experience might not have been as great and successful as it was. Not only do you get endless support, there are also many included weekend excursions that are led by AIFS staff in your host country. This program has everything you need including a wide variety of locations. So glad I chose to study abroad with them!

AIFS is an amazing company that takes great care of its students! I studied abroad in Barcelona for a semester and the staff their hands down are the best. Even though Barcelona is a fantastic city, being away from home for a while can definitely yield some homesickness. However, with the support of AIFS' local staff and a few of my fellow AIFS students, I was able to over it rather quickly. I have made some lifetime friendships and discovered things about myself that I believe would have if I haven't had went. AIFS is definitely responsible for facilitating this process and I will be forever grateful. Thank you AIFS!

I am SO glad that I studied abroad through AIFS! The all-inclusive price provided me with everything I needed and more. I was never worried about anything and all information was always readily available to me when I needed it. The programs are so well done, that even my parents felt completely comfortable for my entire semester excursion.

I couldn't have picked a better study abroad program. The amount of care and time they took in making sure that I was comfortable before, during and after my study abroad experience is truly amazing. The staff goes above and beyond for every student and they are truly the BEST program to study abroad with.

Studying abroad with AIFS was the best decision I made in my college career behind choosing the University I am attending. I loved everything about this company! They were very willing to help throughout the process of applying and getting abroad. Once I was in Spain, the staff on-site was amazing as well. They helped us make sure we got our classes, were having a good time in our host homes and wanted the absolute best for us. I got very sick at the end of my stay and they planned my appointment to the doctors and took me and was my translator, and after my appointment they took me to the pharmacy. After they continually checked up on me to see how I was doing. It was very nice having the staff on-site staff who are locals on our side and giving us the best advice of where the best places are to go! My host family was amazing as well, they were very loving and kind and truly cared for us which was really nice. I was worried about being so far away from my family so it was very nice to have a second family in Spain on my side. I met amazing people on the program and enjoyed all the excursions they led. Overall, I would recommend AIFS, and the Granada semester program in particular, to anyone because it is a spectacular program!

I studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain during the spring semester of 2018, which then led me to studying abroad in Rome, Italy for J-Term 2019 and becoming an AIFS Alumni Ambassador. AIFS changed my life in more ways than I could've imagined and provided opportunities that were unlike any other. While In Barcelona, I attended La Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona which was an amazing experience for me as I attended a Spanish university, where I was taught by Spanish faculty and sat in a classroom made up of students for many different countries around the world. This academic setting provided a diverse, exciting, and collaborative atmosphere. Both AIFS programs in Barcelona and Rome planned many different social and cultural activities like walking tours, cooking classes, biking tours, and so much more which were all so FUN and provided us the opportunity to learn about and experience our host culture first hand. The optional excursions both within the country and international trips were fantastic! In Barcelona, I took the AIFS led excursions to Switzerland, Morocco, Pyrenees, and Seville and Granada, Spain. These weekend trips were by far my FAVORITES out of my entire semester as I was able to grow and develop my friendships with fellow AIFS students. The AIFS on-site staff are truly what make AIFS the best study abroad program (in my opinion). They made my Barcelona study abroad experience the life-changing one it was through their endless support, kindness, love, and care. Study abroad can be an emotional roller coaster and times, and to know that I had an office full of people who cared about my feelings was so important and assuring for me. They quickly went from being strangers to family, and for that i'm forever grateful. Over and over again I would HIGHLY recommend studying abroad with AIFS; it's an experience and a program that I assure you, will change your life forever.

AIFS is first and foremost an organization that truly takes care of you, and supports you during the entire process of a study abroad. This includes your program decision, the application process, working with your university, transportation, and on site staff while you're there. They have a large variety of programs that still manage to be targeted and applicable to nearly any major. For anyone who wants to study abroad, this is a organization that should not be looked past. I was able to find the ideal program for me, Public Health in South Africa over the summer of 2018, and it was the best decision that I've made during my undergraduate career. I only wish I could've stayed longer. The AIFS planned excursions gave me opportunities of a lifetime while still allowing me plenty of time to go and do my own thing and a feeling of security while doing so. This was great for my first trip out of United States, and I would recommend AIFS to anyone and everyone.

AIFS was absolutely wonderful! I studied abroad in Spain and the onsite staff was resourceful, friendly, and kind. The program is all inclusive, which provides the most bang for your buck. i highly recommend!
