Overall, I had a great time studying abroad! It was a chance in a life time experience! I loved my professor along with the two classes I took. Also, the events that AIFS planned were super fun. I would definitely say that studying abroad contributed a large part to my great college experience.

Everything was a bit of a mess, it was not properly planned. The dinner was consistently postponed we were not fed like we were supposed to be on a field trip. I met some of my best friends on this trip and the experience was worth it but the organization was poor. The deadlines were also extremely outrageous. I had to take out an unnecessary loan because scholarships were not produced yet.

The experience was good with good living conditions and a good class.

The program was amazing! The class placements were very straight forward, and the teachers were fantastic. My host family while staying in Barcelona were so sweet, and the best hosts you could ask for. Unfortunately, I got sick while I was in Barcelona but the amazing program directors helped me out so much by taking me to the doctor, translating for me, and helping me get medicine. I would strongly recommend this program to anyone!

When I studied abroad in London for six weeks, I was both ecstatic and terrified. It was my first time leaving the country, and as someone who tends to get very confused regarding transportation and other issues, I was certain I would mess something up. AIFS eased all of my worries. From the U.S. staff to the Richmond staff, I always felt like I had someone to ask questions to. The staff really gets to know you; they knew my name, classes, and even which floor I was on. I wrote blogs for AIFS, and the staff even told me they read/enjoyed them. Because of AIFS, I was able to have the best six weeks of my life.

I made the best of friends through AIFS and I was able to experience an entire new culture by studying abroad! Although I was studying in Berlin, Germany, I was able to see so much more of Germany as a whole. I also got to experience living in Berlin first-hand which was awesome. Studying abroad was the best decision of my life!
