Wow what a magical and beautiful trip I just had to Austria this summer. I was along for the ride on a trip planned by AIFS. There was some incredible tours and field trips to some of Salzburgs finest attractions, businesses, and venues. From guided city and hiking tours from a seasoned local to being shown around to historical businesses it was a life changing experience to say the least. Super happy with the group and the presence of other American groups. Wish we would have gotten to travel to more European cities, but loved being immersed into a new culture and lifestyles!

Overall, I thought the program was amazing because there was a lot of freedom to the participants. It was structured in a way to where you had the support if you needed it, but it was very independent which is where I strive. The only concern I had was our housing - mine itself wasn't bad, but I know the other girls had apartments that were full of mold and would not be up to the living standards we were promised. Also, once again my experience excluded - I think researching some of the internships a little more and removing those that definitely are not fit. Several students had bosses that were not in touch with the girls and would cancel to where they barely even had an internship.

Best study abroad program! ALL the staff were so kind and caring and there for anything I needed! The program was very well organized and made the most of all our money. Was worth it for sure and would recommend to everyone I know!

The weekly excursions were amazing, and a great way to really see the city. The smaller group size allowed the group to get close. The way the school worked was a lot different than I was used to, but its easy to meet people. The intensive was amazing, I'm very glad I did it. Overall there are some little things about my experience with my school and my host family that I would have changed but none of them were the fault of AIFS.

AIFS made the transition to Paris very smooth! Danica, Jane, and Mira were all incredibly helpful whenever we had any questions. CCFS was a great experience. I felt my French really improved and the teachers were pretty patient with the transition to an all French school. Workload was very light. My critiques would be that I wished that AIFS had organized more excursions to either places around Paris or nearby towns/villages like Chantilly or Fontainebleau. We didn't have many, especially compared to other AIFS programs friends of mine attended (ex. my friend in AIFS Berlin traveled every other week with his program to surrounding countries). I would've paid a little more if that was an option because at times, I felt very lost with where to go, and at the end of the day, just wanted to see the most of Paris and Europe I could. Also, while CCFS was great at improving my French, I wished that AIFS had organized some sort of language exchange buddy with the Sorbonne or another university. I was really only speaking French at school, with my host family, and then when I went shopping/for food. I didn't really get to practice conversational/practical French with people my own ages. I feel like it would be easy to find French students willing to meet for maybe two hours a week (build a little tutoring money into the AIFS fees) and would be a really great way to improve and learn French.

I loved studying abroad in Costa Rica. The staff at AIFS is amazing - professional, helpful, and friendly. They were one of the best parts of my experience and I highly recommend choosing them. My host family was amazing and I got to see some of the most beautiful places in the world. Te amo Costa Rica ❤️

AIFS not only was there for me every step of the process from the support team and help number they had. But it also provided on site staff that was there to be a helping hand. Traveling abroad was definitely something I will remember for the rest of my life from visiting other countries, getting lost on random streets, and making new friends!

I studied abroad in Maynooth Ireland and I had a wonderful experience. My program director Cliodhna truly made the experience stress free and memorable. The living situation was good and the location was amazing. It was close to Dublin so you still got experience the big city. Maynooth its self is small but there are a ton of restaurants and shops to explore.
