Most of it was fine, but one little detail was that the exercises with the pictures and the multiple choice to answer the questions about where in the report to mention were too small. I couldn't read or positively observe the pictures.

Thank you for your feedback. We're glad to hear that most of your experience was positive. We appreciate you bringing the issue with the image-based exercises to our attention. Being able to clearly view photos and inspection details is an important part of the learning process, and we understand how frustrating it can be when images are difficult to see or interpret. We will share your feedback with our course development team for review as we continue to improve the learning experience. Thank you for choosing AHIT, and we wish you success in your home inspection career!

The instructors were knowledgeable and the lessons were easy to follow. I just wish they had more videos and more up-to-date photos.

The course itself was really good although some info is a bit outdated. You really need to work on counselor/advisor assitiance, guidance and follow up. My original advisor was is no longer employed, and I did not receive a phonecall or email about it, and I was not assigned to or contacted by someone else. So I was left to myself to guess on what order things should be done, like watch this chapter then read the book chapter or vice versa. That really should be clearly defined and/or emphasized to maximize absorption of the material. The last thing I didnt like is there was no way to reach anyone after 8-5 business hours, to leave a message or ask questions that could be returned at a later time by someone knowlegeable that could give a real/ specific answers, instead of reading a scripted response by a customer service agent during business hours.

Thank you for your feedback—we’re glad to hear you found value in the course overall, though we understand there were some frustrations with your experience. Not being notified about your advisor change and not having clear follow-up or guidance is a gap in communication that shouldn’t have happened. Having a clear point of contact and direction on how to navigate course materials—especially when it comes to order and structure—can make a meaningful difference in how effective the learning experience is. We also hear your concerns about support availability and the quality of assistance. Our team does not rely on scripted responses, and the goal is always to provide clear, knowledgeable, and personalized support. When that doesn’t come across, it’s something we take seriously. We appreciate you taking the time to call these things out—it helps highlight where the experience can be improved.

All of the information was great! It was just very outdated. I took my test and passed so I'm grateful.

Training was a bit overwhelming, I didn't expect that. I am a 40 year carpenter that has built from the ground up, learned a lot. The web class kept timing me out without warning, not happy with that. No manual provided to follow what was being taught, frustrating.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re glad to hear that, with your extensive background, you were still able to learn something new through the training. We’re sorry to hear that parts of the experience felt overwhelming and that you encountered timing issues during the web class. We understand how frustrating it can be to be timed out without warning while trying to stay engaged with the material. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the lack of a manual to reference alongside the training. Having additional materials to follow along with can make a big difference, and your comments have been shared for review. We appreciate you taking the time to provide this feedback, as it helps identify opportunities to improve the overall learning experience.
