Overall good course!
Some information needs updated. Overall good course. Nice to see more real life inspections...not just someone saying what needs to be inspected, show them actually doing the work and recording in their report.

Very well taught and explained
Very well taught and explained. I do not agree with the time limit to complete a course that was paid for. The information should be available to the purchaser for as long as needed.
Response from American Home Inspectors TrainingFeb 17, 2026
Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear you found the course well taught and clearly explained, and we understand how frustrating it can feel to lose access to material you’ve paid for. In education—especially in regulated industries—courses are provided with a defined access period rather than lifetime access. This is an industry standard and is tied to several factors, including state requirements, course version updates, and ensuring students are completing the most current and approved material. Licensing agencies require providers to keep content up to date, and older versions must be retired and replaced as laws and regulations change. The access period is designed to give students ample time to complete the course while also ensuring the credit earned meets current licensing standards. If you ever need help finishing within that timeframe or have questions about your options, support is always available to assist.

things that would make the classes better
Some of the questions on the test are confusing also I feel the presenter in the videos tends to stray away from what he is supposed to be teaching. Overall it was a good experience.

Training is broken into bite-sized pieces making the learning easy to take in. It is all reading and no video instruction except for a few example videos. Great content.

Breaking content into bite-sized sections is intentional, and we’re happy to hear it supported your learning experience. We appreciate your comments on the content and your time learning with AHIT!

I think the instructors did an amazing job. I personal would of like to of had the class in person instead of over zoom. I liked the field since it was smaller I had more hands on there will still be a lot for me to learn and skill to build. Thank you for this experience.
