I deposited $9,200 with AgentFire for a new real estate website. The website never launched. I ultimately cancelled the project before launch because the product simply wasn’t creative or polished enough for what I had paid. What was being built felt like very basic landing-page work, and despite an extensive onboarding process, I found myself having to provide step-by-step direction instead of receiving the level of creative and professional guidance I expected. What made the experience even more frustrating was that AgentFire began billing me an additional $250 per month before the website had even launched. When I decided to cancel, I recognized that they had put some time into the project and wasn’t expecting every dollar back. I tried to find a reasonable middle ground. Instead, after receiving $9,200 from me for a website that never went live, AgentFire ultimately offered approximately $1,800 back and then closed my file. That experience speaks for itself. Before spending this kind of money, I strongly recommend comparing alternatives. Platforms like Lofty and BoldTrail offer significant real estate website and CRM functionality at a fraction of the cost, and there are plenty of web developers capable of producing a more customized product without a $9,200 upfront investment. I wish I had shopped around more before making the deposit.
