⭐ 1 Star — Extremely Unprofessional and Unacceptable Service Unfortunately, American Home Shield continues to assign AG Appliance Repair to service various appliances in our home, and our experiences have been consistently terrible. We’ve had technicians come out repeatedly, particularly for our refrigerator, and the problems never seem to be permanently resolved. The issues return, often after the service window closes, leaving us to pay another service fee. Today’s experience was the final straw. Our technician, Sergio, was scheduled between 9 AM and 1 PM and arrived at 1:07 PM. I politely asked him to remove his dirty outdoor Doc Martens boots or wear shoe covers before going upstairs to our fully carpeted area. We have a shoe-free home, especially because of our religious practices and religious items upstairs. He had no shoe covers and flatly refused to remove his boots. As a result, he left without repairing our dryer. When I asked for his information, he completely ignored me and walked away. Perhaps AG Appliance should invest in disposable shoe covers and basic customer service training. And if Sergio finds removing and retying his Doc Martens too difficult, perhaps Velcro shoes would be a better option! To make matters worse, when I called the office, Hannah informed me that Sergio had already reported his version of events. She refused to arrange a management callback and couldn’t even provide an email address to file a complaint. Unprofessional technicians, questionable repair quality, and absolutely no accountability from customer service. After reading the other negative reviews, I’m clearly not alone in my concerns. I will be formally escalating this matter to American Home Shield, the Better Business Bureau, and the appropriate consumer protection agencies. I would strongly discourage anyone from using this company. American Home Shield should seriously reconsider assigning this contractor to its customers.
