All though this is a great concept I have not been successful in finding an apartment in the area of Sacramento. Any call backs I've recieved have know vacancy and there's a waiting list.my search will continue hopefully something will come up. Julie Jackson

I never had so many challenges in getting a place to live just because of not having good credit. For crying out loud I"m not looking to buy a house, I have good payment history with my rent and that wasn't good enough. What has this world come to. I'm bedbound/ disabled and need a roof over my head and same with my husband so now we're going to be in the streets in my condition. My husband's back can't handle pushing me around in a wheelchair and hauling our two cats around and I worry so much for them too. This isn't right and so inhumane. Many tenants here got 90 day notices due to a rent increase that limited section 8 to fund. A year's notice would have suffice to take care of business. This is discrimination just cause one doesn't have descent credit. No one considers that my rent always came first afterall isn't that what' we're supposed to do with out S.S.I. checks. Make sure it goes to rent and phone and electricity bills and food? If not then what's the purpose then. Section 8 is a guarantee that one will receive their money for the rent. I find this to be a conspiracy period.

I was in desperate need to find a senior apartment complex for my parents. All the places in the area where my parents lived was either full, out of the price range or not independent living. I enjoy searching for senior apartments in After 55.com. The bad thing I've noticed is the apartments may sound nice, however most of the places are full with no future move outs so you may have to settle for a standard apartment.

It was hard getting in; we were able to put in an application. We were impressed with the location & all the amenities offered!
