For some reason they tend to ban and delete real people's accounts, but they seem to easily let in plenty of scammers without any problems. Are they doing deliberately? I see platforms like J4Meet.com succeed in filtering off scammers (I met many genuine girls there), but AfroRomance moderators don't bother to look at all the scam reports. They don't want to implement any anti-scam policy. Also their pricing system is convoluted and absolutely not transparent. It is misleading. There is a thousand loopholes in the fine print that justify all possible overcharges and embezzlement.

I've used many different dating sites over 15+ years. This one stood out as being the biggest scam site I've run across. And much of it seems to be coming from the company that owns it. There appears to be many profiles that are actually AI bots. They will interact with you and pick out things in your profile to flatter you, which will entice people to pay for premium services. The several I interacted with all made the same observations, had lengthy profiles that went into detail and all had the same "tone." Not to mention, I had more women initiating contact in one week than I've had in months on other sites. I expect other sites will follow with this tactic before long.

It’s a big and perfect cash machine and giant money-draining scam system: girls, moderators, support team, sister sites, etc. I had better luck on J1Live.com Girls from this site make a perfect wife material and I know this for a fact because I married one of them. Yes, I’m that happy man with a perfect trophy wife! :) My search for her wasn’t easy. So I thought I might facilitate this task for someone by writing this review. I also want “to let the world know” about AfroRomance massive scam. Everyone is fake there, absolutely all profiles are fake af. Don’t touch it with a bargepole.

This site has only a few active members. There are so many profiles that are still visible but they have not been active for months.

Used in the UK there were a few UK responses especially looks and flirts, but I would say the vast majority were from West Africa and the age gap was unrealistically very wide so I wondered at the authenticity of that: why would 20s something African girls many pretty ones, from over 3000 miles away want to meet older guys near London. Just wondered if it was genuine which could be so but just unrealistic when its a different continent.

Well, it was a while ago, but I did have a good experience with AfroRomance, and seeing all of the negative reviews, I thought I'd add mine for balance. I met a very nice man through AfroRomance and traveled to a city 600 miles away to spend the weekend with him. He also traveled to that city to meet me. I had to pay my own travel expenses, but once I was there, he took care of everything. It didn't turn out to be anything permanent. Although he kept in touch via phone, he didn't seem eager to meet again (just being nice, I suppose) and then I got back with my ex, so that was that. Still, he was nice, attractive, on the up-and-up, we had a good time,and I got to experience that city, to which I had never been before.
