Affordable Screen CompanyReviews of affordablewindowscreens.com

My overall experience was very good. The screens came in the exact size and pin location that I ordered. My only problem was a delay in delivery because of a problem in the shipping department.

Good screen material and easy to order

We purchased two Custom Screen Door DIY Kits (Royal Sliding Screen Door Kit + Stainless Steel 1" roller upgrade). Overall, these kits were very high quality for 47" x 93-3/4" custom screen doors for the price ($143.95 per kit). Customer service was always prompt, courteous and helpful. Production took a little over 2 weeks. Shipment arrived on time. There were two minor dents (one at a bottom corner of the frame and one near where the handle was installed). The bent corner was easily fixed with pliers. The dent near the handle is very small and only noticeable when your face is down close to the handle. My kits did not come with any installation instructions. The only included documentation was a marked up page that looked like an internal work-order printout. One side of the handle was installed and screwed into the frame. The other side of the handle needed to be installed, but the frames did not have any holes pre-drilled for the screws. Additionally, one handle screw was missing. The screen door kits came with a plastic screen installation tool which takes more time to use than the metal tools. Metal screening tools can be purchased separately on their website, but it would have been nice to have an option to "upgrade" the included plastic tool to a metal one as part of the kit. However, all these are minor nitpicks and did not prevent us from easily assembling the screen door frames, drilling the necessary holes for the handles and installing the doors. Customer service is sending us another screw and told us that instructions usually come with the kits. In the end, we are very satisfied with these DIY kits given the price; especially compared to the price we would have paid to get custom screen doors installed locally!

I was initially sent an incorrect version of the screen (hardware tabs on the opposite sides), but was able to get this issue resolved. The correct version of the screen did arrived promptly and fit like a glove!

We like the completed screen door very much. I would have given five stars but two of the corner braces were bent due to handling. I put them in a vice and bent them slightly back as I did not have time to get replacement parts (which I expect I could have) Other than that the screen door went together well and works so much better than our 10 year old door there is no comparison!

Great perfectly made screens for my windows. I would definitely recommend affordable screens as they were able to deliver to exactly what I needed. I would have given them 5 stars had they been. Little faster. I ordered twice and both my orders took about half a month or so to reach my door step from the day I ordered.

Shipped very quickly. I took a star away, because one of the horizontal came in damaged. However when I let them know, I received a new crossbar, right away. Also, just before I installed the screens. I was looking at the parts list and realized I never received 3/4” screws for the side brackets. Luckily, I had my own. I put the screens up and they look terrific.

Happy with the screens and. Sry happy with the price! Took a little longer than expected but overall I’m happy with the product and would definitely order from them again.
