My husband was never pleased with googles over his eyeglasses while skiing. I went on line a year ago to look for prescription googles and I located what I was looking for on the ADS Sports web site. My husband absolutely loved the googles and wore them all the time when skiing. This year my husband, while getting off the chairlift, slid and fell. His helmet came off. After skiing down the mountain he realized that the inset had obviously become detached and was missing. We ordered a new pair and I was told that the new pair was not going to be exactly the same. I was concerned but wanted to order them and I did. The new pair was so much better. It actually was enforced in four places. I doubt they would become easily detached with a minor fall. The first pair was clipped on in only one place and was easily detached. I strongly recommend that the company goes with the second option of four clippings and drops the one clipped inset.

the service was great, but after wearing the glasses serval time it was clear that the prescription is not correct. Quality of lens great.

This is the first time I've been able to get a pair of curved progressive polarized lens. I use them for bass fishing and the seals on the Rout keep my eyes from tearing up running across the lake. Everything is good except the 250 close up power is not there that I need for tying knots. I have to take 250 readers for knot tying and change glasses which defeats the propose of the progressive lens. ADS did remake one lens that the power was an error on my prescription. I will check back to find out what they can do to correct the reading power of the glasses.

took long time to get lens; expensive

I needed assistance with special lenses, which I found much easier to do via phone than the ADS web site. Then my order was delayed due a broken frame at the optical lab. For both issues, I found the telephone support to be excellent and the email updates prompt.

I ordered RX lenses in Native Silencer frames. Apparently they didn't pass internal inspection and were sent back for re-do prior to being shipped out to me. And when they finally shipped, my address was incomplete on the label so the box was returned to ADS as undeliverable and had to be re-shipped. All this added another week to the delay. While I appreciated the quality control, it took over a month before I ultimately got my glasses. However, in the end, I am pleased with the glasses, which are my first pair of prescription sunglasses.

I am glad to write this review because I really love these frames. I have a pair if the sunglasses and I wear them everyday. However when I bought the glasses with a prescription they were wrong. I couldn't see through them at all. They received the prescription directly from my eye doctor's office. I think the prescription technician is not good. I was so disappointed when I opened the box and tried them on and they were totally wrong. I couldn't see a thing. It was not my prescription in those glasses. (I sent them back today.) You really need to correct this problem for the future because your frames are the best out there as far as I can tell. I have spent many hours searching and buying eyeglass frames from other companies with the wind protector shields because I have severe dry eye and have to wear them everyday when I'm outside. Please try to find a way to streamline your system to make it better. I have an idea: first, ask the customer to get the paper prescription and scan it or fax and then "after" you receive it, email the customer and send the scanned document for them to look at, to make sure it is correct. Secondly, make sure the lens technician doesn't make any mistakes. (I don't know how to do that.) But you could have two technicians check the prescription to double check it is correct before mailing it out. Thank you for the opportunity to speak. Kim
