To clarify, our role is only to assist with applications for state programs like food stamps. We are not connected in any way to the distribution of benefits, medical coverage, or housing services. Your application has been submitted and is currently under review by the appropriate state agency. We remain hopeful that your food benefits will be reinstated soon. We take your concerns seriously and will be reviewing the communication involved to ensure clarity and consistency for all clients going forward. To clarify based on your July 18 update: ACN assists only with completing and submitting applications, but we do not determine eligibility or benefit amounts, those decisions are made by your local Department of Human Services. Our review shows that your SNAP benefits were reduced and Medicaid was denied due to a reported income increase. These decisions were made by the state, not by ACN or any team member. We encourage you to contact your county office, as you have the right to appeal and provide additional documentation if needed. We’re here to support you through that process if you'd like.
