Acast has given me a way to reach people with information that they will find useful or confronting and which I can tell them in an interesting way. Acast opened that door by allowing me and you to start a podcast not only free of charge but with their freely given support from helpful staff. Acast then broadened their generosity by allowing we podcasters to have more than one podcast with no subscription charge. Acast doesn't know my listeners, nor do I, but we both know that while my content is useful and interesting it's not likely in the short term to bring sufficient listeners to attract advertisers. Over the longer term some of it will. But which podcast, what information? Only time will tell. Acast has been prepared to wait in my case, as it waits for you, to let all those listeners tell us what they want, what they come back to, where even an ad wouldn't turn them away. Those insight statistics are so useful. Acast has a plan to be a very successful company. I like it that their plan allows me and my listeners to grow with them. You can grow too.

Excellent platform to host your own podcast, especially the free plan that I use since I do not need to use a paid plan is not at all a limitation but a strong point that other platforms have not seen that you have everything you need to start and there is no limitation of number of episodes that can load I have length etc..

I have been using Acast for months and my experience is great. 1) It automatically distributes my podcast episodes to other apps e.g. Spotify, YouTube, Google Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, and more. This saves us a lot of time and makes the titles/descriptions/pictures consistent across the apps. 2) it gives us important and exciting podcasting insights (e.g. number of downloads, listeners per app, their location) 3) it gives us easy access to tools to record podcasts and experiment with audio Simply speaking, it's great!

genuinely can't understand why anyone would pay for podcast hosting (other than Acast's monetization option) when Acast's easy-to-use interface exists
