AcadiumReviews of acadium.com

Working with Acadium has been incredibly easy and potent for our startup. They make it simple to filter and search for the candidates you're looking for, down to location, interests, and proficiency tools. We've worked with two apprentices from their platform (currently seeking a third!) and they've all been energetic, resilient, and eager to learn. Given a solid structure for communication and opportunity, all of our Acadium candidates have flourished. We can't recommend the platform highly enough!

Acadium brings together those who are eager to learn digital marketing and those who are already successful in the industry. I have finished an apprenticeship with an amazing mentor who is now my client. Acadium is a great platform and they really care for students who sign up. I had an amazing experience and apprenticeship has helped me to gain new skills and be more successful in my career.

Acadium has been to me one of the more challenging and innovative opportunities that I have ever tried. It has training on Digital Marketing which is very self explanatory, it has a communication system that let's you formally get in touch with business owners that are looking for talented Marketing students. Acadium gives me the confidence to try out what I had learned in college and prepared me to start an apprenticeship. I consider that Acadium is a really big project and beyond just being a great platform to get an apprenticeship, it is a big gift to our society, so people who wouldn't normally be exposed to these type of opportunities, is now getting the experience they need to get a High level Job.

When I found Acadium I was short-changing my marketing efforts, especially on social media. There are not enough hours in a day for a business owner to do it all on her own. Acadium helped me get on track and to expand my reach and engagement. Working with my apprentice not only helped me to lighten my work load, it also gave me a sense of accountability. Because my apprentice and I speak every week about what's working and what's not, I'm accountable to moving my marketing work forward. Two minds are also better than one! We're able to ping ideas back and forth to come up with solutions that might have taken me months on my own. It's also been very rewarding to mentor my apprentice. First, you realize how much more you know that you think you do. Second, it's very satisfying to see someone grow in skill level and confidence. I've used some systems and strategies that I think can help you have the best Acadium experience possible. When I was searching for candidates I had a message sequence that was VERY specific about who I am, what I do, what my mentoring style is, and the type of work that my apprentice will be doing. Potential apprentices had to opt into interviewing with me. One of the tasks of my current apprentice is to develop checklists for each task which I will then give to my next apprentice. This way we can transition more easily. It's important to help your apprentice as much as you can. They are working unpaid. Try to give them 3X the value that you can. Share resources, especially ones that are expensive. They will appreciate that and feel valued.

I enjoyed my apprenticeship very much and learned many things that I was lacking in. I highly recommend!

I first tried Acadium when it was GenM four years ago. It was still a pretty good service back then. It allows business owners and marketing students to come together and have their goals realized. When I first started on the platform I didn't really have a sense of direction. I didn't know where I wanted to focus on or even what I wanted to do. But overtime, Acadium evolved and kept growing. They took the feedback students and businesses gave and changed their platform. One thing I think that was missing with the over encompass of acadium was the community aspect. When people normally finished apprenticeships it was difficult for them to figure out the next steps. I was apart of the acadium accelerator program for cohort 3. I can say that program is amazing, I'm glad they're bringing aspects of it over to the main platform. I think overall acadium is a great investment if you're a business or student. Businesses and students should keep this in mind. Students are trying to get more experience in certain areas. Businesses still want to get certain work done. So how can you both come together and make it a win-win? That's how my last few apprenticeships became successful. I also want to say that, acadiums support and success team is amazing. They respond quickly and ask for feedback about your apprenticeship as well. This is definitely the place to be if you want to get into marketing or work with upcoming marketers. I'd try it out as soon as possible!

Acadium (then known as GenM) connected me with an awesome marketing mentor who provided me with an educational and fun marketing apprenticeship. I came to GenM a recent college graduate looking to add more experience to my resume. My mentor offered me a paid marketing job after my apprenticeship finished! Now I'm working in my ideal industry and getting paid! I recommend Acadium to anyone trying to find a job or start a career in marketing!
