AcadiumReviews of acadium.com

I learned a lot about digital marketing attending while attending the Acadium accelerator program. I gained a lot of knowledge learning about the different aspects of digital marketing.

Acadium is really a good platform for individuals who are fairly new to the employment world. I cannot give out 5 stars yet since I’m still in the process of internship and still don’t know it’s after effects.

After taking a few courses on digital marketing, I found myself in a dilemma where I had the knowledge but no proof or confidence that I could do it at all. Luckily a friend shared Acadium with me to try out and I couldn't believe I'd found a professional platform that allows you to find plenty of opportunities to gain real experience. I felt the world had opened up again as I could build relationships to take off in my career. Remember, nothing good comes easy. I had my own challenges with a mentor that I realised wasn't a great fit. Amazingly Acadium assigns an advisor to you who checks in weekly to see if apprenticeship is on track. I loved that they asked if the tasks assigned to me were aligned with my goals. Which they weren't so. It made me aware that as an apprentice I still have a say so in the work I am given and have to take control over what I want achieve! It can be very scary going out on your own to figure all this out, but rest assured that once you're accepted you are supported every step of the way!

I personally had a great experience with Acadium. I worked with two mentors for three months and gained real-world skills and experience without the fear of making mistakes because it was an apprenticeship environment. My marketing skills improved as well as confidence in myself. I would’ve given the program 5 stars except for two things: - I feel the education/classes portion could be more sophisticated. The class content was solid but the delivery via just text on white slides felt amateurish. But this isn’t a deal-breaker by any means. - Students need to know not every business owner they talk with is truly interested in being a mentor. Some just want inexpensive marketing talent. Like any working relationship, the student should carefully vet the biz owner to ensure they’re willing to help the student learn and grow. I also feel Acadium should take on some responsibility for vetting mentors better to ensure the “bad apples” aren’t allowed into the program. I was fortunate to have two excellent mentors who were committed to my career growth. But overall, Acadium was an excellent investment of time in my education and career.

You will learn a lot in this program! I would recommend this program to any aspiring digital marketer.

It is a very nice concept, offering you the stepping stone into digital marketing even if you do not know much about the subject. I was matched very fast with interesting companies right away. I recommend it.

I really love the idea for this, and the platform works really well. It can be a little overwhelming trying to find someone (definitely use the sorting features!). My first two interns flaked out after a few days, but the third one was totally worth the wait. I've just started with a 4th who seems good. It's a GREAT way to get those tedious (to me) details off my plate, like SEO for blogs, and content marketing. The interns get mentoring and experience, and the business owner gets another set of hands.

Find talented marketing apprentices that will elevate your business! I've had a great experience with Acadium and hired my first apprentice as an employee. Before Acadium, I was struggling with overwhelming workloads but after working with my first apprentice, my workload decreased and I was able to trust her with big tasks, which has now opened a lot more time for me to work on things that matter most. The team is also very helpful and supportive. The candidates are experienced, trained, and talented. Just be mindful of time zone differences, commitment, hours of availability, and fluency in English when hiring someone abroad. Be proactive when contacting candidates and spend time daily with your apprentice to get best results. Definitely recommend!
