We were trying to get a tractor hauled…
We were trying to get a tractor hauled approximately 182 miles to our house. This was a total disaster. They do not state they are brokers on their website - and yes, the calls and emails are insane. One broker hung up on me after quoting me a price, then the price changed and I was not mad at him - he's doing his job and explained that. Stated I was mad at the company; requested my deposit back and that was the click. Price more than doubled, dates kept moving, and calls and emails keep coming in endlessly. Getting calls and emails for a car, and they have the wrong name (lol) and location. A1 is a hot mess. Maybe they need AI (which at this point, is less challenging then how they are doing things). Had one person who was really good about explaining how this worked ( I appreciated that - wish the website would have explained this), but they don't. At this point we are four days in and no tractor, so my husband is going to rent a trailer and truck and pick it up himself, it will be cheaper and less painful. Tragic - just be upfront and tell folks you are a broker and you no control over the actual freight companies. Man what cluster - so not worth the headache.
