99 Ranch MarketReviews of 99ranch.com

Act security harasses patrons after they go shopping and tells them to leave right away or they're calling the police ranch market needs to update their security people act is very rude and won't let you sit for a minute to cool off to look at your phone

I've been back to theEastvale branch of the 99 Ranch Market a number of times since I gave the place a two out of five stars rating. I had time to speak to the cashier Jennifer Liu since it wasn't very busy one day. She was one cashier who spoke English very well and was very communicative and friendly. I asked her why the cashiers at 99 Ranch were so morose and unfriendly. I told her she was the exception. I subsequently met another cashier named Livia Lim and also got to talking to her. She was also friendly. I noticed there were more and more friendly and communicative cashiers since my last review, and no one since the last time was tossing my groceries like discarded goods after they scanned or charged me for them. I wondered if my review brought the change or my simply talking to them in a friendly manner made them aware that they were coming across indifferent or even bordering on being hostile. I felt sympathy for Livia when she mentioned that some customers were very rude. I don't doubt that at all. Rudeness seems to have infiltrated every segment of our society. Anyway, I am writing this review just to give an update on what's going on at Eastvale 99 Ranch. I've seen more and more friendly and communicative cashiers. I have to get used to the friendly greeting and the "Have a nice day". I just want to let them know that I appreciate them. I have not purchased another roasted duck since my last undesirable experience, so that part of the 99 Ranch experience has no update. This market has a very good supply of fresh produce, fish, meat, pastries, cakes, and just about everything else. I noticed one thing about their ground meat not having a label showing the percentage of fat. I had to chase someone around to find out. Many of the stockers did not speak very good English and tended to run away when approached. The place is impressively clean.

Been ordering from 99ranch.com which is just the online storefront for the 99 Ranch Market stores, so if you like the physical stores then this is basically the same thing, but with delivery/shipping or pickup orders. I've mainly used the shipping option and always found the items extremely well-packed: tightly with more than sufficient packing material. However, the shipping option is a bit slow (always shipped by FedEx, apparently with the slowest method possible). They also once missed an item, but immediately offered a refund after emailing (refund took over a week to process). So overall, quite satisfied aside from the minor inconvenience of speed if using the shipping option rather than local delivery or pickup.

Everything arrived safely but it did take a while for the box to arrive.
