I came to 8th and Poppy with some astrology background, but felt behind on my computer and business skills. I was paired with a coach who was super patient with me in working through the set up of getting the business going. She was so encouraging. If you don't have a format or structure on how to go about making astrology a part of your life, they have condensed all their success mechanisms into this class. I was able to polish my skills and now have 6 people willing to give me reviews. I am hoping during this period of finishing this last leg of the course, I can start gaining more clients than those already in my circle.

I have mixed feelings about this program, and I contemplated writing this for a while, but ultimately, I do not feel it was worth the investment. My first concern was the sales process. I felt pressured to make a decision on the enrollment call because of the emphasis on how much money I would save by signing up immediately. For a program that costs thousands of dollars, I don’t think people should feel rushed into making such a significant financial commitment. Plus they didn’t reveal how much until on the call. I did enjoy parts of the course, and I learned a few things I wasn’t expecting to learn. However, I was genuinely surprised by how generic I found many of the astrological placement interpretations. They felt very basic and surface level, and if I had paid for an individual reading that consisted of those descriptions, I would have been extremely disappointed. I expected much more depth, nuance, and practical application from a program at this price point. I felt like because of the basic interpretations I was turning to AI too much to complete readings, and that made me feel like a fraud. (And made me feel like I wasted my money) The coaching was my biggest disappointment. I liked my coach as a person, but our calls rarely focused on astrology or building a business. Instead, much of the time was spent having general conversations about life. There is nothing wrong with that in itself, but it is not what I expected to be paying thousands of dollars for. I felt as though I was paying over $5,000, plus interest, for conversations I could have had with a friend rather than receiving the specialized guidance I enrolled for. I also believe the program would benefit from having coaches with more substantial, demonstrable experience running successful astrology businesses. If a program is teaching people how to build a business, I would expect its coaches to be able to offer practical business strategies, meaningful feedback, and guidance grounded in their own experience and results. To be fair, I did gain confidence in my ability to give readings, and I started creating more content and getting some readings myself. That was a positive outcome. However, I attribute much of that progress to the confidence I gained from putting myself out there and practicing, plus my previous years of business and social media experience. I believe I could have developed that confidence organically without making such a substantial financial investment. In my opinion, the educational content was worth a fraction of what I paid, perhaps around $300, and I personally did not find the coaching component provided meaningful value. That is an enormous gap between the price and what I felt I actually received. I am still paying for this program, which makes the experience even more frustrating. Looking back, I wish I had been given more time to evaluate the offer rather than feeling pressured by the promise of immediate savings. I would strongly encourage anyone considering enrolling to ask detailed questions about the depth of the curriculum, what coaching sessions actually involve, and the coaches’ real-world business experience before committing. Ultimately, I went into this genuinely wanting to learn and build something for myself. I did take away a few positives, but they do not justify the cost for me. Based on my experience, I would not make the same investment again.

I came across 8th and Poppy on Instagram, and felt drawn to it because I currently run a tarot business but knew I needed a little extra guidance on how to get it going with social media marketing. What I ended up with was a more aligned rebrand of my business, now including astrology readings, and I feel so much more clear on its direction because of this course and the one on one support that came along with it. The support I got from Gabrielle was amazing, and everyone I interacted with through 8th and Poppy led with confidence and gentle direction. Building a business while working full time is definitely going to take me longer than 3 months, but with the action step tracker they provided, I feel confident I can continue in a clear direction even after the 3 months of one on one support is up. I feel like overall, learning astrology turned out to be the cherry on top I needed to guide my business in way that feels truly aligned with my purpose, and the clients that I work with and will continue to call in.

I had looked into working with 8th & Poppy for a little while and was drawn in by the easy step by step structure to begin my own business. The courses were very easy to track and absorb with such a vast amount of knowledge given in a digestible way. The resources provided are SO helpful. I couldn't have been more blessed to work with Gabrielle one-on-one as my coach! It was a perfect personality fit and like being guided and cheered on by a dear friend. The action step tracker kept me on point and was always my first reference point when I would sit down to work on my business! I love a detailed to-do list! Over the course of working with Gabrielle and 8th & Poppy, I was able to reach out of my comfort zone and provide two very in-depth readings to two strangers that resonated completely with what I shared with them! They said things like "I've never felt so seen in my whole life" and "I am so empowered and feel so f**king seen by your reading!" Also, I just provided my very first paid reading that so far the feedback is extremely positive. I knew I wanted to start a business helping others understand themselves more deeply and be a part of helping them transform into amazing versions of themselves and was completely overwhelmed with the steps to set it all up. Given that I already have another business and know the amount of leg work that goes into the behind the scenes running of things- that I had to learn by years of trail and error, setting this business up seemed daunting to do without a framework. Working with 8th & Poppy I was able to streamline the whole process and get everything up and running in such a short amount of time so I can concentrate on what I love to do, the actual astrology and working with people.

What initially drew me to the 8th & Poppy program was the Instagram content. The messaging felt like it was speaking directly to me and made me think, “Someone else has done this, maybe I can too.” After watching Adrienne’s VSL and hearing how she left the traditional path to build something she loved, I felt inspired that creating my own astrology business could actually be possible. The courses were easy to follow and gave me the structure I needed without overwhelming me. I’m still learning astrology every day, so the guidance on reading natal charts, approaching consultations, and creating reports was very helpful. I’ve also explored the solar return and synastry courses, but I haven’t finished everything yet. I appreciate being able to move through the coursework at my own pace and return to it when I have the capacity. The coaching, action tracker, and resources for HoneyBook, Canva, Instagram, and other parts of building a business gave me a clear place to begin. The action stepper helped me organize my thoughts and turn my ideas into something tangible. The program saved me so much time that I otherwise would have spent trying to figure everything out alone. My coach, Gabrielle, was amazing. I joined shortly after my father passed away, and during one session, I admitted that I didn’t have the mental capacity to work on my business. She met me exactly where I was, sat with me in that moment, and gave me the support I needed. Since joining, I’ve completed 6 readings, including 3 paid reports. During a recent in-person reading, my client became emotional because she felt so deeply seen. Moments like that remind me why I’m doing this. As a single mom working full-time and carrying my own mortgage, healthcare, etc. I have to build this business alongside my current life. Saturn demands patience. The 8th & Poppy program has given me the foundation to create something that will eventually sustain me and help me leave the matrix.

I have been interested in astrology from a young age so I decided to create a social media page around it, that's where 8th & Poppy found me. At first I was a little skeptical, but as soon as I started getting into the program I found that it was exactly what i needed to fine tune my astrology skills and to discover what I needed to do to have a real astrology business. 8th & Poppy makes it really easy to not only learn how to read the charts you want to learn but also learn how to run the type of business you want to. I highly recommend 8th & Poppy no matter where you are on your astrology journey if you are serious about starting a real business for yourself.

As a working mom, I was drawn to 8th & Poppy because I wanted a program that allowed me to not only learn astrology at my own pace, but also allow create a business out of it, if I so chose. Never in a million years did I think the structure and guidance, organized content, support and communication and just overall Feel and VIBE would match EXACTLY what I needed, and wanted out of a program! 🙌🏼 From my first interaction to my last, I was met with kindness, enthusiasm and guidance from every woman I had the pleasure of connecting with. I felt like I was texting with a friend every time I had a question, and the access to the incredibly detailed and through course materials make the course worthwhile in itself ! I have learned so much in three months, and I’m starting client readings next week!! I’m doing things at my pace, and feel that I’ve already received a return on my investment with the lifetime access to the content, and from how much I’ve learned, and when I’m ready…the financial piece will follow. The Action Tracker keeps you organized and and everything’s so easy to use. I have friends and family excited to meet with me, and I already have a business name and aesthetic I’m excited to share with the world (in due time). ✨ 8th & Poppy and my coach, Gabrielle, have been instrumental in making me feel confident in my abilities to learn, practice, and grow as not only a business woman, but also as an astrologer and woman overall. 💜 I feel like I have a better understanding of myself, which was the cherry on top. 👌🏼 4 months ago I thought there was no way I would be where I am now (emotionally and mentally) and soon, hopefully also financially! lol the sky is the limit for me and I can’t thank this program and teachers enough.
