I honestly am so grateful for 7 cups. Through this app I realised that my crying wasn't me overreacting, that I was worth so much more and I did deserve happiness!! Then when I became a listener I had the best time of my life I had so many happy moments when I made someone's day or made someone feel worth. 7 cups saved my life so yaa THANK YOU!!

This is a decent mental health option for people who would like to vent. I think that it’s a special platform for those who are genuinely interested in being compassionate listeners. I do not recommend this app to those experiencing a crisis. 7 Cups is a volunteer based service. Although they do have a therapy program that is a paid service. I have never used that so I can only speak on the service I’ve used. As a listener and member there. My experience as a listener is a 5/5 I absolutely love that I am able to earn badges and take courses that are 100% free. As a member it can be daunting to find a listener who is understanding. But after some digging you could possibly find a listener that understands. I’ll rate my experience as a member a 2/5. Overall I would recommend this from a mental health advocate standpoint for those who are interested in pursuing a career in counseling and would like to volunteer to gain experience, knowledge and learn listening skills.

Well I've been around 7cups for sometime. It's a very convenient way to get the support you need for your mental health and general emotional well being. There are some great kind hearts here that listen to you as a friend and that's in addition to the therapy that It provides.Of course you need to browse well for suitable listeners and take the cautions required for a good online experience. But all in all 7cups provides a great genuine community for support. Recommended! Cheers to caring for mental health ❤️

At first I heard that 7cups.com is a place where I can get a friend to talk with, but then it surprises me that not just I can talk with good listeners, I can also be a good listener as well. I have taken some classes about counselling and being a good listener seems fit for me, so I tried, and here I am, one of the listener in 7cups.com :D

There are some terrible "listeners" on this site. Do not touch it if you're feeling down, irritated or struggling with your emotional welfare, most of the "listeners" are terrible people. I've had ones which have: - only been there to troll other people - only listen until you give them a good rating - tried to have text sex - completely ignore you or don't respond at all - been really rude or ignorant to a situation - been completely judgemental - not been able to speak your language - only made a situation feel worse or feel worse about yourself This site should be illegal.

Though 7cups needs some improvement like there are some listener not verified and not so good in listening skills. Overall it can be said to be producing a good effect because it really does it's job when you find right listener for you.
