7 cups can be a wonderful experience, both as a listener and as a member. The majority of my experience with 7 cups has been as a listener. It can be an incredibly fulfilling journey. Not only have I learned to be an active listener, but I've also broadened my knowledge about certain topics that members wanted to discuss with me. Actually being there for somebody and listening to them can be such a game-changer and incredibly rewarding. Overall, it's quite wonderful to be a part of this community.

Have been a fully trained Active Listener for the past two years... Recently received my Verified Listener badge too. It has been an interesting and fulfilling journey. Life with 7 Cups gives you a chance to do a little good and heal a few hearts whenever you have the time. For those following psychology as a career it can be a key tool to learn about the experiences of those with varied psychological conditions. Definitely recommend for both Listeners and Members

I used 7 cups for 3 months. You get one message a day, and often that message is simply "oh that sounds hard" and "how was your day". During my third month, my therapist was very non-responsive. She missed my first couple messages, then left on vacation. For $300 I had a total of 8 messages from her, including "sorry I missed these" and "hello I'm back" taking up a quarter of them. When I asked 7 cups to refund part or all of the month, after 2 weeks they responded suggesting to switch therapists, which I declined, and after 6 weeks they finally messaged me back to say that since the therapist has been paid there's nothing they will do. So basically this company pretends to be for the customer, but is really only concerned with lining their pockets regardless of the service you've gotten. I wasted almost a grand on this company that's left me feeling like less of a human than when I started out.
