Mostly good, but mixed bag
The course was packed with valuable information, but it could've been presented much more efficiently. Maybe 1/3 of the assigned work was totally unnecessary, and much of the other 2/3 could've been consolidated. Some of the courses were outdated as well. As a coach, Richie didn't seem particularly invested in my success, and gave contradictory advice at times, which didn't exactly build trust. I also thought the $10,000/month "guarantee" was misleading. It required attendance to the weekly calls with Brian, which were impossible to attend due to my schedule. This is not a good reason to disqualify a client from your guarantee, especially when it isn't mentioned on sales call or early onboarding.

Hi Billy, thank you for sharing this. First off, we’re glad you worked with us, and we genuinely enjoyed having you in the program. On the playbooks and course content, I totally hear you. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to consolidate a lot of the content, make the playbooks simpler to follow, and replace anything that has become outdated. A lot of what you’re mentioning has already been updated or fixed since you went through the material, but your feedback is fair and it’s part of why we’ve been making those changes. I’m also sorry to hear that you felt that way about Richie. I personally looked back through the surveys you filled out while you were a client, along with your exit survey, and I didn’t see any mention of being unhappy with him as your coach. The only thing I found was the period when Richie was traveling for his honeymoon and reply times slowed down. That’s not ideal, and we normally try to comp clients when response times are slower than they should be. If we didn’t do that in your case, that’s on me, and I’m sorry we missed it. Also, if you had told us at any point that you didn’t feel like Richie was the right fit, we would have been happy to move you to a different coach. We never want someone feeling stuck with a coach they don’t feel good about. One important clarification on the guarantee: we never disqualified you from the ROI guarantee. From what I can see, you never actually applied for it, and my guess is that you may have self-disqualified because of the attendance language in the agreement. That attendance requirement was something I added to our older agreements early on, but in practice we’ve never used lack of hot seat attendance to hold someone back from the guarantee. We’ve also since updated the agreement and removed the 50% attendance requirement. Our newer requirement is simply that clients submit two hot seats and follow the advice given on those hot seats. Had you applied, we likely would have been more than happy to continue working with you under the guarantee. Either way, I appreciate the honest feedback. I’m sorry there were parts of the experience that didn’t land the way they should have, and I’m glad you still found value in the program overall. We wish you the best moving forward! -Brian Hood
