Really convoluted customer service
I would definitely go with a different provider. The rate may look cheap, but there are a couple things you should know: 1. Their customer service is really bizarre. Maybe it's all staffed in Mexico or another Spanish speaking country, but there is 100% a language barrier. And I don't think anyone there knows what they're doing. They try to follow scripts, but it really takes a long time to get anything done on the phone. Everything is a drawn out process that involves emails and escalations. And then they might have misunderstood your request, and then the line gets disconnected. Another time when they set up service at one of my houses, they told me that my name was coming up with different addresses and they would have to verify me. I told them it was because I have 2 houses both with electricity serviced by them. They wanted to verify me and told me the best way to do this was send a photo of myself with my drivers license to their email address. Sketchy. 2. There is fine print on the rates. For example, their super low kw rate also has a monthly minimum. Make sure to understand the fine print.
