I'm highly certain most of these reviews are not from real people because 360 is NOT safe to have on your computer at all. This application comes bundled with other programs or invades your hardware. I have never seen this "anti-virus" before until I rebooted my computer after a power outage I had. I saw a random pop up that said "scanning" and I loaded my task manager, saw"360 Total security" pop up six times and it brought up many black boxes with prompts in them. Then it will blue screen your computer in that specific order, forcing it into recovery mode and you will not be able to use it again unless you get someone who is highly knowledgeable in technology to disable it. I never installed 360 myself, I know better, this thing is nearly impossible to uninstall unless you search up how, or once again, get someone else to do it for you. 360 has many pop ups, it's insanely dangerous to have, and it ruins your cpu and memory. I have not figured out exactly why it forces my computer into recovery mode. But I eventually got it disabled. At least I thought. My computer worked completely fine after I got it disabled. Until we had another power outage weeks later (which was today.) I turned my computer back on, and 360 SOMEHOW ENABLED ITSELF again and caused the same EXACT ISSUES I had before. Check your task manager often if you see anything strange, and STAY FAR AWAY from this "anti-virus" . If you know anyone who you share a computer with like I did, tell them to NEVER install 360 Total Security unless they want to give you a bad day trying to fix it. Reading other reviews on this, the "support team" claims that it is legit software and they reccomend using a special uninstallation tool or "offer remote assistance" to remove it. Not only is this bull crap because why would a genuine company sneak this harmful application on peoples computers, disable Microsoft Defender, make it impossible to uninstall, and have annoying pop ups? And once again, BSOD a computer many times before either resetting it, fixing it, or buying a whole new computer. That's exactly what VIRUSES do. We are not stupid.

I initially installed this software as a security measure to scan for viruses and malware on Windows. However, over time, it significantly slowed down my computer. The worst part is trying to uninstall it: the software completely blocks the standard uninstallation process. It uses "dark patterns" and deceptive design tactics to hide or mask the uninstall button, forcing users to keep it on their systems against their will. It behaves more like a virus than an antivirus. I was only able to completely remove 360 Total Security by downloading a specialized third-party advanced uninstaller to force it out of my system. Do not download this software.

Se instalo con algun otro programa. No funciona el desinstalador. Tuve que quitarlo "a golpes". Es un malware, una basura indecente una porqueria que se instala a la fuerza. A Saber que hacia de fondo.

a MALWARE and SPYWARE in one app, highly recommended to those who don't know how to use a PC and just letting this WORST APP to be installed as long as posible.

Zero stars if that was an option. Zero. I never even chose to install this thing. It came bundled with another program and snuck onto my PC without me realising. That alone tells you what kind of company this is. Honest companies don't need to sneak onto your computer. But the real nightmare starts when you try to remove it. You can't. I'm not exaggerating. The normal Windows uninstall does nothing. The uninstaller won't run. It sets itself as your main antivirus without asking, turns off your existing protection, and then blocks every single attempt to get rid of it. I wasted hours on this. Safe Mode, killing processes in Task Manager, downloading third party removal tools. Why should any normal user have to do all that just to delete a program? This is exactly how malware behaves, the only difference is this one has a website and a support email. And look at their replies under all the 1 star reviews on this page. "Contact our support team", "we have a dedicated uninstallation tool". Think about that for a second. They openly admit their software needs a special tool just to be removed. Normal software doesn't need an escape tool. That's not an accident, that's how they designed it. In my honest opinion this whole thing is a scam. Get onto people's computers through bundles, make removal a nightmare, and hope people give up and just live with it. What they're really taking from you is your time, your control over your own PC and your trust. Just read the other reviews here. People are factory resetting their computers and reinstalling Windows from scratch just to escape an "antivirus" they never asked for. That says everything. If you're thinking about installing this, please don't. Windows Defender is free, already on your PC and actually leaves when you tell it to. If you're already stuck with this thing, boot into Safe Mode and use a proper uninstaller tool, because the normal way is a dead end on purpose. And to the company, save your copy paste apology reply, nobody believes it. Software that fights against being uninstalled is not security. Never again.
