Whatever you do make sure it does not involve ordering from this site. Stated 2-3 day shipping for a chair I ordered. 45 days later, nothing. Asked to cancel order and get a refund, which was promised within five business days. 15 days later, nothing. Every time I inquire about shipping or refund I get further promises and no follow through. This company is a scam reseller!

I made the mistake of ordering from 2Modern and want to warn others: don’t get fooled by the nice-looking website. I ordered a chicken pouf for my daughter, which she didn’t want, so I tried to return it. That’s when the nightmare began: It takes days to weeks to get a return shipping label. You have to harass them with repeated emails just to get one. They charge a 15% restocking fee — even for unused, brand-new items. Real example: I paid $229 and only got $167.40 back. What a joke! Imagine if it were a more expensive item — it’s basically a rip-off. Their so-called “customer service” is almost nonexistent. Do not buy from 2Modern.

Horrible experience with 2modern. Delivery took forever, and the description of the item was deceitful. Hazle to return. Bad customer service

have ordered things in the past without an issue but recently did have an issue . after waiting MONTHS for it to arrive , it then took a week of emails to get a response. when i asked for help was told that basically i would lose 50% of what i paid if i returned it ( shipping to client , return shipping to their company and a 15%!!!!!!!!) restocking fee. it’s not how people handle things when things go well it’s how they treat you as a customer when a problem is encountered . i would never buy from them again

Purchased a radio and after waiting a week for the email to confirm shipping, what I got instead was an email telling me it is backordered for several months. Waste of time.

Ordered a Wedgwood Vase in November, was told it would be shipped Dec 27th… Vase goes on sale… never ships, moved to January. Doesn’t ship, Told February 3rd, doesn’t ship. Moved to end of month… ITS ALSO IN STOCK! 2MODERN is a scam, they’re trying to be a reseller but fail regularly. Thanks for nothing. STAY AWAY FROM 2 MODERN you’ll never get it. You’ll get lots of these: “We haven't forgotten about you. We're still working on your order. Thanks so much for your continued patience.”

I ordered a dresser and it has been a nightmare. Was told the shipping date would be 1/1. A week later and I don’t have a tracking number or other helpful order update. I send an email; no reply. I call and am told it has not shipped but they will get back to me. Later that day I get an email saying the shipping date is 1/1, which is now a week prior. I point that out, and the next day I get an email saying they mean 1/10 along with another email saying it will ship by 1/10. By 1/14 I still have no tracking number and call back only to be told they don’t have an update and need to contact the warehouse. I get a call that same day saying it will definitely ship that same day, 1/14. On 1/15, I get an email saying the piece isn’t estimated to ship until 1/17. I call to cancel the order and am told they can cancel it as long as it hasn’t been prepared to ship, so they will contact the warehouse to confirm. Meanwhile, I could have gotten the dresser last week from another company. So now I am without a dresser and stuck from buying elsewhere until the refund is confirmed, all while coming up against a due date (the dresser is for a nursery). Total disaster.

I ordered gifts for my family and left plenty of time for them to arrive for our exchange. Unfortunately, they did not arrive on time. When I called the customer service agents at 2 Modern they were very friendly but completely unhelpful. They said they would "check with the warehouse" to see about the delay. They never followed up with me to give me updates or explain the situation. Ultimately, when I cancelled the order, they didn't even have the decency to apologize for their poor service. I would not recommend this company!
