Quality control needs to get better. Bathrooms are gross, plumbing issues. People that come there trash the place and the staff doesn’t seem to care.

Most 24 Hour Fitness' are pretty bad, but the one I go to in SF isn't so bad. Overall they need to do some maintenance on all their gyms.

I've been a member of 24 Hour Fitness for a while now and have visited many of their locations up and down California. Overall, my experience has been quite mixed. Some gyms are fantastic with modern equipment, clean facilities, and friendly staff, while others fall short in several areas. It seems like the quality of each location heavily depends on how new it is. The newer locations tend to be well-maintained, with state-of-the-art equipment and a more welcoming atmosphere. However, the older gyms often show their age, with worn-out machines, less cleanliness, and sometimes indifferent staff. Despite these inconsistencies, 24 Hour Fitness does offer a variety of classes and amenities that can be quite enjoyable when the facilities are up to par, and it's nice being able to visit so many locations under one membership. If you're considering joining, I'd recommend checking out a few different locations to find the one that best meets your needs. TLDR: 24 Hour Fitness can be a great option if you find a newer, well-maintained location, but be prepared for a hit-or-miss experience depending on which gym you end up at.

As a former 10 year employee, I was very disappointed in the way they handled letting me go in March due to Covid. And it was ridiculous the employees they kept were only the ones who were the cheapest, not any other good reason. And I only got one raise over 10 years despite always having excellent reviews etc.

Been to 6 different 24hr gyms on So.Ca. Only the one on.Camarillo.has the music so loud that one has to turn up the volume so loud on ones phone to drown it out. I have moved to the area and will not renew membership if this is not resolved.
