1800 Wheelchair never delivered the product I ordered after several phone calls, customer service is often not there so you leave a message and they don't call you back. No one could gfve me a tracking number or tell me why the warehouse could not fullfill the order. Terrible.

I am indicating 1 Star because there is no option for 0 or a NEGATIVE number to algin with thier customer service experience. About 5 years ago we purchased a Featherweight chair from 1-800. After 5 years of daily use and world travel the chair was showing its wear and tear, so we decided to purchase a new one from 1-800 as we were happy with the first experience. The new Featherweight chair was not even remotely close in quality to the first one. Wheel spokes become loose, fall out of place and bend or break. One wheel is no longer in alignment and will not connect in-line. Foot rests don't stay in place and the brakes do not work properly. All of this within less than 1 year of ownership. Despite numerous attempts through e-mail providing evidence of the issues per their customer service request, we have yet to receive any resolution. We are constatly told the issue is being escalated to the warehouse to address. When following up days and weeks later we receive no responses. To this day we have yet to receive a response to "We'll get back to you before end of day" on April 24, 2026. This company has no regard for their customers. They have poor quality products for a market that requires safe and dependable mobility aids. The new chair is a law suit waiting to happen but I cannot wait for an accident and subject my wife to any further physical stress. We will now need to look elsewhere for a replacement. Stay away for 1-800 Wheelchair....FAR FAR AWAY!

I am a supplier to 1-800 Wheelchair and have supplied my onboard wheelchairs for use on aircraft in good faith that they will pay for them. I supplied them last October and I am still waiting to be paid. It is impossible to contact them and no one replies to emails or returns my calls. If this is the way they treat a supplier, I'd hate to be a customer. Beware.

Ordered a replacement wheel and after 2 months was told it was out of stock. During that 2 month I called 4 times because I still had not received a tracking number. When I was told it was out of stock I canceled order and was told I would get refund. Since then I have contacted them no less than 5 times wondering where's my refund. Over a month and still waiting. This place is a joke. Worst customer service. I would steer clear of 1800wheelchairs.com Update. First they would refund to card, 2 weeks told check is in the main As of 06/04/2027 still no refund

Horrible customer service! I order a wheelchair 8 weeks ago and still nothing. I am constantly being told 1) we have to check with the warehouse and get back to you - they never f/u 2) you will get an email with shipping updates - never any emails 3) can I speak with a supervisor - they hung up!

I was sent a used battery for my wheelchair, I ordered a second one for backup. Ive been trying to get the battery replaced it was $250 so worth to ask. The customer service is so bad no response on emails or phone calls. Do not order by 1800wheelchair there are so many good options out there.

Make sure you know exactly what you want. The exchange process is painful and costly in both time and money.

Their wheelchair products deserve 4.5-star, but their return processing performance is subpar and deserves 1-star! I purchased their 19lb wheelchair and found its 18" width too narrow. So I returned it basically unused. After three weeks from their returns receipt date I still hadn't received my money back. So I called them at their only contact number getting Customer Service and they claimed their Warehouse hadn't yet inspected my return, but will do so "soon"? However they said they'll "expedite" the matter for me. I then asked to be connected to their Warehouse inspection department and they blatently refused, claiming they have no outside contact phone extension! Absurd! So several days later I called again for an update and Customer Service tells me their Warehouse still hadn't opened my box? So I asked to talk to a Manager and they again refused to connect me claiming they're not allowed to do that? I became irate and the receptionist quickly stated she'll again escalate the matter. Absurd! I was then promised a callback by a manager but never got one. What is going on with this company's returns policy and my money? Buyers beware!
