I accidentally hit this website after typing in 1800 contacts. Red flag number one. So I had plugged in my 4 boxes of contacts for each eye before realizing that. It said after my rebate (which by the way is their own "rebate" according to the customer service rep so it's just a markdown ploy to get you in) it would be $9 per box for one and the other $16 per box. When I went to check out the total came to way more than the original price and way more after the rebate. So I called them. She said "Scroll way down after entering the shipping information. That's where the taxes and fees are listed." What would have made me scroll down on that screen? I'm expecting to see the information on the order total on the next screen and it's not. It's like bait and switch where they hope people can't do math. It was nearly $200 in taxes and fees on a $380 order. That's unheard of. That's a might expensive processing fee. I would rather they list the boxes at what they are actually charging and not be shady. I don't trust a company that needs to do all that rather than just being a little bit cheaper (which they are in the end) than their competitor. I'm going to pay a little more for a company I can trust. Also note, their other reviews are all invited and these honest reviews get buried. So they lost a customer to these underhanded ways.

I searched 1800Contacts, but this company came up as an ad under the name I searched for. I didn't realize it until I had already placed the order. They my be a fine service, but it feels slimy to have a bait and switch like this.

I ordered contacts on Aug 7. Delivery was to be 3-5 business days. After the 5 days, i received 3 emails over a weeks time, each one extending delivery by two weeks. This took the delivery out to the end of September. The reason i was provided for the delay, was, they are unique and not in stock and they have to be made specially. I checked with my eye doc, whom informed me that i have a very common eye prescription and they are in stock with all of their providers. I cancelled the order Aug 21. I was assured a full refund in 3-5 business days. Never received after 8 days. I called again to confirm refund. Told the refund wasn’t processed and now it will be 7-10 days. Once again, Not received. Called a third time, same run around. During all the calls i requested a manager, all three times i was put on hold and assured the refund would be received in 3-5 days. It was a month since cancellation so i filed a complaint with Pay Pal. PayPal also did not get a response from 1800 GETLENS regarding my complaint so PayPal handled the refund. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!

BEWARE! Returned contacts 3 weeks ago. They confirmed received through email and phone calls. Still no refund. Each time we call, "You are of highest priority and supervisor will be calling you. (never does) This company is absolutely ridiculous!

This company is just a SCAM. Do Not waste your money. After placing my order they are just rejecting my prescription because they said it's eyes lenses while it's clearly mentioned contact lenses. After reading the other reviews I understood that this company does not even have the lenses or they don't have enough quantity therefore they will be delaying the delivery. I hope you will to able to see this review as all their 5 stars review are "invite review" means fake

This place is a scam. They have a hidden LARGE processing fee in their order. And they do not give you all the rebates that you qualified for. They also can not seem to give you a detailed list of the hidden processing fee. They charged me a 427.84 processing fee.

Wurst experience so far. Contacts was supposed to be 20 dollars a box. I ordered six box. They are charging me 450 dollars and they have to get my contacts from a third party. And the rep was laughing on the phone like she was high or drunk. And I won't be here until next month. I ordered on the 4th. Then she had the gaul to tell me I can pay an additional 8 dollars to expedite it after they receive it on the 19th.

It took one month and a week for my contacts to come. I know I live in Hawaii, but it seems like we’re on another continent. It also came by FedEx, which I thought would be faster. I will never order again
