Huge waste of time. Advantageous advertised price was simply negated with a ridiculous purported "processing fee". The "processing fee" for 4 boxes of contacts was $132. I chatted with an agent live via web chat. I was told this was a fee for servicing the order. I saved the entire chat, inclusive of 3 separate sessions. It can be provided with redacted contact number and address for myself.

Charged my card twice! I ordered contacts that were much higher than I expected, and then was charged but the charge failed due to nsf! So I decreased the number of boxes and pressed the order button again. The money took out of my bank that time. A week later, the first charge came out of my bank and made my checking go into the negative!!!! DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR DEBIT CARD INFORMATION. SCAM.

They don't tell you about how the mail in rebates work. To find out you have to scroll down to the bottom of the page past the continue button. For 1 year if contacs they took 299.67 out of my account. Then im supposed to wait to get my form for the mail in rebate then fill it out mail it and wait 6 weeks to get a 105 dollar visa card. I canceled my order now I have to wait 10 days to get my money back. RIDICULOUS!!

They don't tell you that if your lenses aren't in stock it will take like 2 weeks, or even tell you they're not in stock when you order!!!Unresponsive to emails.

VERY shady - DOUBLE CHECK THE MATH when you go to finalize your order! I put items in my cart, went through checkout, and about to put in my cc info when suddenly the total was over $130 more than what the math showed it should be (I had 4 boxes in my cart)...with no breakdown or explanation. I called to ask what this was, and why no breakdown is giving showing this additional amount. I was told it is "taxes and fees" but they cannot provide a breakdown because apparently. I live in a state where lenses are tax exempt, so as best I can tell, it just added a fee that essentially doubled the price when going from my cart to payment in checkout. Not showing a line item for taxes and fees is shady. I almost missed the price change, except it was such a huge difference I went back and re-added everything up, but I can easily imagine a person just assuming the math works out and going ahead with their payment info and clicking submit. BE CAREFUL. The prices shown are fake prices to get you to click. The "real" price magically shows up when its time to put in your CC info - so pay attention!!

Website only quotes "after rebate" costs. When checking out, they add in taxes and fees. However, in my chat with customer service I was told "we can not tell you the amount of tax and the amount of fee you will pay until AFTER you check out." Seems shady to me. the "per box price" was about $65. Then there was about $34 in taxes and fees. But, nowhere in the checkout experience is that made clear - watch the total price very carefully and do the math. It added $136 for tax and fees. But, my local sales tax would have been under $20. Lots of fees.

1-800-GET-LENS has high prices that consumers overlook because they have hefty mail-in rebates. In my case, on a $500 order there was a $200 rebate. The rebate made a year's worth of contacts a competitive price of about $300. The rebate is promoted are all over their website and they even deduct the rebate amount from the total on your receipt giving you a price as if they will do what they promise. However, when you don't get your rebate they claim rebatecard.com is a separate company and direct you to call rebatecard.com when they fail to deliver the rebate. Adding insult to injury, the rebate company has NO phone support, so you are on your own. Check the reviews by googling reviews 1-800-GET-LENS, many people complaining their rebates forms were lost, some with tracking to the PO Box. It seems this company had so many bad reviews that they may have changed their name from lens.com to 1-800-GET-LENS both located in Louisiana, MO. Not a coincidence! Don't buy from them if you are counting on your VISA rebate card. If you don't mind paying exorbitant prices for the same contacts you can get cheaper elsewhere without a rebate this is the company for you. But their rebate program via rebatecard.com is a nightmare. Still waiting on my rebate, they claim they never received it and only want originals.

BEWARE - THIS COMPANY SELLS DISCONTINUED OLD CONTACTS. FALSE ADVERTISING STATING YOU'LL GET A REBATE, AND WHEN YOU TRY TO GET THE REBATE. THEY DENY IT. EVEN THOUGH IT'S ONLINE ON THEIR WEBSITE! THEY ALSO ADD HIDDEN CHARGED AFTER CHECKOUT. THE HIDDEN CARGES ARE ADDED ON TO THE TAX. @ $102.00. SPARE YOUR SELF THE HEADACHE AND USE 1800 CONTACT LENS INSTEAD.
