I’m not able to get emails to send cards only phone numbers.
Response from 123Greetings.ComJun 4, 2026
Hi Charlie,
Thank you for reaching out.
You can send an eCard via text message instead of email using the Share feature on our platform. Below are the steps to help you get started.
From the Mobile Website (m.123greetings.com)
1. Open m.123greetings.com in your mobile browser.
2. Select the eCard you wish to send.
3. Just below the eCard (above the Sender Details section), you will see a row of icons. Tap the text message icon.
4. Your phone will open your default messaging app with the card link ready to send to any contact.
From the 123Greetings Mobile App
1. Open the 123Greetings app on your phone.
2. Select the eCard you wish to send.
3. Tap the Share icon located next to the Favourites icon.
4. Choose your preferred messaging app (Messages, WhatsApp, or others) and send the link to your recipient.
If you are using an iPhone or iPad and do not see the iMessage option, it may be due to your device settings. The following tutorial video can help you enable iMessage:

They lie just like all the other card…
They lie just like all the other card companies. They charge
Response from 123Greetings.ComMay 11, 2026
Dear Maria,
Thank you for your feedback – and I'm sorry you feel this way.
I want to be very clear: 123greetings.com is completely free to send ecards. We do not charge for standard cards, nor do we ask for credit card information. If you were asked to pay, you may have landed on a fraudulent clone website that mimics our brand – or you may have seen our optional ad‑free Pro mobile app ($5.99/year), which is entirely optional and clearly marked.
We do not lie. We have been providing free ecards for over 20 years.
If you were charged by a site claiming to be us, please email us at [email protected] with the details, and we will help you identify whether it was a clone site. You should also contact your bank to dispute the charge.
We invite you to try the real 123greetings at www.123greetings.com – no payment, no hidden fees, just beautiful free cards.
Sincerely,
123greetings Customer Support Team

Keeps sending endless emails which…
Keeps sending endless emails which cannot be answered or unsubscribed. Very suspicious site as previously reported
Response from 123Greetings.ComMay 9, 2026
Dear Reginald,
Thank you for your feedback – and I’m truly sorry to hear about your experience with unwanted emails from us. What you’ve described is not the standard we aim for, and I completely understand why you’d find that frustrating and suspicious.
To be very clear:
We are a legitimate ecard service that has been operating for over 20 years. However, we recognize that sometimes technical issues (or even someone else mistyping an email address) can cause our system to send emails to the wrong person. That should never happen, and when it does, we want to fix it immediately.
Here’s how we can resolve this for you today:
Please share the email address receiving the unwanted emails – either here in a reply or privately via [email protected] – and we will manually and permanently remove it from our entire database within a few hours. You will receive no further emails from us.
On unsubscribing:
In the past, some users did face difficulty with unsubscribe links. That is why we have recently launched brand new email templates that include:
A clear, one-click unsubscribe button that works instantly
Verified, safe links (no suspicious redirects)
A visible footer with our contact information
We have also strengthened our email authentication to prevent spammers from spoofing our name.
I sincerely apologize that you’ve had this experience, Reginald. Please give us the chance to make it right. We look forward to resolving this for you immediately.
Respectfully,
123greetings Customer Support Team

Avoid these people
I get lots of spam from this site. When I have tried to unsubscribe it does not allow me to do so. I have deleted my account and hope that works.
Response from 123Greetings.ComMay 9, 2026
Dear Edward,
Thank you for your honest feedback – and I am truly sorry for the frustration our emails have caused you.
You are absolutely right to be upset when an unsubscribe link doesn’t work. That is unacceptable, and we take full responsibility for past failures in that area. Please know that this was never intentional, but rather a technical issue with our older email system.
The good news:
We have recently launched completely new email templates that include:
A guaranteed one-click unsubscribe button that works immediately
Clear, verified links (no suspicious redirects)
Full compliance with anti-spam regulations
Since you have already deleted your account, you should stop receiving emails automatically. However, if you continue to receive anything from us after deleting your account, please contact us directly at [email protected] with your email address, and we will manually purge it from every single list we have – no questions asked.
We are not a fraudulent company. We’ve been delivering free ecards for over 20 years, but we clearly let you down. The new email templates are part of our commitment to doing better.
Thank you for giving us a chance to improve, Edward, and again – our deepest apologies.
Sincerely,
123greetings Customer Support Team

Impossible to Use
For ~ 20 years I have appreciated using 123 Greetings It has many excellent features. Unfortunately in the past year it has become UNUSABLE. I have just tried to send a Birthday card 5 times- getting a bit further each time, before another ad appears, takes over the screen and when done- I have nothing- have to bring up the website again and start over. I was almost complete on try #5- then gone. This is the worst use of ads on any web site I have ever seen. It is almost unbelievably insane. Good buy 123 Greetings. Sorry!
Response from 123Greetings.ComMay 9, 2026
Dear longtime user,
First, thank you for being with us for nearly 20 years – that truly means the world to us. ❤️ And we are genuinely sorry to see you go under these circumstances.
You're right to be frustrated. We hear you loud and clear: the ad experience on our free website has become overwhelming, and that's entirely our fault. What you described – getting almost through a card only to lose everything – is absolutely not the experience we want for anyone, especially not a loyal user like you.
Here's what we've done to fix this:
We have just launched an ad-free Pro version of our mobile app (available for both iOS and Android). For only $5.99 per year (that's less than 50¢ a month), you can:
Enjoy zero ads – no pop-ups, no interruptions, no lost cards
Send unlimited ecards smoothly
Save drafts and favorite cards
Get faster performance
We built this specifically for users like you who loved our service but couldn't tolerate the ads anymore. The mobile app experience is completely different – clean, fast, and peaceful.
If you're willing to give us one more chance:
Search "123greetings" in your app store, download the free version, and you'll see the option to upgrade to Pro for $5.99/year. We genuinely believe it will restore the experience you enjoyed for two decades.
Again, I'm so sorry we drove you away. Whether you stay or go, thank you for those 20 years. We hope to earn you back.
Warmly,
123greetings Customer Support Team

Infected
I received a notification of a Christmas card from a friend via an email from 123greetings.com. I checked the email address carefully to verify it was the right domain and the friend also let me know separately that she had sent the card, so I know I clicked on a real email from 123greetings.com.
While waiting for the card to open, the browser page was redirected to virussweep.sa.com, which is a fake antivirus site full of alarming popups that try to scam you into believing you are infected and that you need to click on something or call a number to fix the PC, upon which you get the real malware download.
I closed the page and that was that (I also ran a couple of scans and all fine), but clearly this company can no longer be trusted to deliver greeting cards in a safe manner. I know for sure my in-laws would have panicked and clicked on one of the fraudulent links if this had happened to them. I will make sure to never use this site or open another email from them and have told my friend not to use them to send me greeting cards in the future.
Response from 123Greetings.ComMay 9, 2026
Dear user,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention – and I am genuinely sorry for the frightening and unacceptable experience you had.
First, I want to reassure you: 123greetings does not intentionally redirect to scam sites like virussweep.sa.com. What you encountered is almost certainly a malicious advertisement that slipped through our ad network. We do not control every individual ad, and unfortunately, bad actors sometimes manage to inject scam redirects into legitimate ad platforms. That is absolutely not okay, and we completely understand why you no longer trust us.
You did exactly the right thing – closing the page and running scans. We are very glad your computer was not harmed.
What we are doing about this:
We have reported the malicious domain to our ad partners and are tightening our ad screening. However, the only way to guarantee zero risk from ads is to remove them entirely – which is why we have launched an ad-free Pro version of our mobile app (iOS and Android).
For only $5.99 per year, the Pro app has:
No ads at all – zero popups, zero redirects, zero scam risks
A clean, safe environment to send and open ecards
Faster performance and saved drafts
The mobile app does not rely on mobile web browsers where malicious redirects can occur. It is a fully contained, secure experience.
Regarding your friend:
Please tell her we are sorry as well. She used us to send you love, and instead you got a scam scare. That breaks our hearts.
We are not a fraudulent company – we have been delivering free ecards for over 20 years – but we have failed you on safety due to bad ads. If you ever decide to give us another chance, please use the mobile app with the Pro upgrade, or ask your friend to send cards that way.
Again, our deepest apologies. Thank you for being honest and for taking the time to warn others.
Respectfully,
123greetings Customer Support Team

Avoid 123 greetings Leads to scam site
Clicked on a free E card to send and before I had had the chance to say to whom to send it I got a message saying quick-tutor had done an active card check and would be taking £50pm. All without me visiting their site and now I haven't sent the E card. Looks like total scam. AVOID
Response from 123Greetings.ComMay 9, 2026
Dear Elspeth,
Thank you for reporting this – and I am truly sorry for the alarming experience you had.
Please let me be very clear: 123greetings does not charge any fees for sending free ecards. We have never taken money from users without explicit, voluntary payment (such as our Pro app upgrade). The message you saw from "quick-tutor" claiming they would take £50 per month is a fraudulent popup scam – likely generated by a malicious advertisement that hijacked the page.
You did not visit their site. You did not give them any payment details. They cannot take £50 from you because they have no access to your financial information. These scams rely on fear to trick you into calling a number or clicking a link. You are safe as long as you closed the page.
That said, you should never have seen that scam on our site. This is completely unacceptable, and we understand why you feel the site is untrustworthy. We are actively working with our ad partners to block these malicious redirects, but the only guaranteed way to avoid them entirely is to remove ads altogether.
That is why we have launched an ad-free Pro version of our mobile app (iOS and Android) for only $5.99 per year. It contains:
Zero ads – no popups, no redirects, no scam risks
A completely safe environment to send and open ecards
No unexpected messages or third-party interruptions
The free website will continue to have ads (which we are trying to clean up), but for users who want peace of mind and a smooth experience, the mobile app Pro version is the solution.
Again, to be absolutely clear: You have not been charged £50 by us or anyone else from that popup. Please run a security scan on your device if you are concerned, but simply closing the page was the right move.
We are deeply sorry that your experience led to fear and frustration. If you ever decide to give us another chance, please try the mobile app. And thank you for warning others – your feedback helps us improve.
Sincerely,
123greetings Customer Support Team

Yikes
I received a greeting card today, supposedly from 123greetings. When I clicked on view the card, a porn site popped up.
Response from 123Greetings.ComMay 9, 2026
Dear Suzanne,
I am truly horrified and deeply sorry that this happened to you. What you described – clicking what should have been a greeting card and instead seeing a porn site – is absolutely unacceptable, disturbing, and not what 123greetings stands for.
Please allow me to be very direct:
This should never, ever happen. We do not create, host, or knowingly link to adult content. The most likely explanation is one of two things:
A malicious ad redirect – A bad advertisement slipped through our ad network and hijacked your browser to another site. This is a known issue with some third-party ad providers, and we are aggressively working to block these bad actors.
A spoofed email – The email may have looked like it came from 123greetings, but scammers sometimes fake our brand name to send dangerous links. If you still have the email, please check the sender's full email address – scammers often use addresses like [email protected] or similar misspellings.
What we can do for you right now:
Please forward the suspicious email to [email protected] so our team can investigate and try to trace the source.
If you clicked from our legitimate site, please let us know the date and time so we can track which ad network was responsible.
How to protect yourself going forward:
The only guaranteed way to avoid malicious ad redirects on any free ecard site is to remove ads entirely. That's why we have launched an ad-free Pro version of our mobile app (iOS and Android) for only $5.99 per year – zero ads, zero popups, zero risk of being redirected to inappropriate content.
Again, from the bottom of my heart, I am so sorry that you were exposed to that. It is not okay, and we will do everything we can to identify and block the source. Thank you for telling us – and please don't hesitate to reach out if we can help further.
Respectfully,
123greetings Customer Support Team
