If I could rate zip I would! I’m a quilter and rely on my magazines for the patterns. Years of magazines gone in a flash all because Zinio took over with a simple update of these magazines. Not only that, I have also purchased magazines under Zinio only to now have them read “view” but there’s nothing there! I have to repurchase! On top of this they keep sending me the same automated responses about their service to my issue. Really! I’ve done exactly what these messages have said. No refund from Zinio or Apple i-tunes, no refund period! No magazines, no anything! Years of magazines and hundreds of dollars all gone...for a person who makes a living using these...thanks!!!!

I'd leave a zero if that was possible. I found the site through a google search, looking for back copies of a magazine. Filled my cart and ordered. Nowhere on any of the pages I came across was a disclaimer that I was ordering a digital copy. I thought I was ordering print copies. Customer service refuses to refund and points to a click-hidden page that explains this is a digital copy. If you can't be upfront about your product, at least fix your refund policy. I will be going to the credit card company for a reversal if paypal doesn't honor the refund. Clear product disclosure isn't a nice-to-have, if you are offering a service it is your obligation. "Too bad about your luck" customer service is the icing on the cake.

Not at all happy with the app or reading it on my iPad. The app has frozen and won’t load at all. I did delete it and reinstall it and restarted my iPad. Nope, still won’t load. But that’s not the a Worst part. I had years of magazines stored in my library, many of which are out of print and impossible to replace. They’ve just disappeared. I only have the issues from this last year. They’re not online, they’re not on the iPad, and I can’t get on the app to see if they’re there. My last resort is too see if they’re on my Samsung tablet. So disappointed. I paid for these years and now they’re just gone. I did get in touch with customer service but all they told me was to delete the app and reinstall it. Nothing about my missing magazines. Seriously thinking of taking everything off ZINIO and buying just the issues I want.

As a magazineaholic I subscribed to all of my fave mags to save on paper. They don’t advise upfront that they will deliver them digitally much later than they are available in stores until you question why they are late. Who Australia magazine which comes out every Thursday in shops, I was advised does not need to be sent digitally until Sat (it usually comes by late Friday). I was not advised this when I subscribed and assumed it would be available at the same time as when I could walk into a shop and buy it. This is incredibly frustrating as I would usually read it Thursday morning at work. I have also experienced other magazines I subscribed to arriving a week late or mags that I purchased one edition of not showing up to read until two days later. They give the same explanations each time but it constantly happens. I have asked for a contact number but no reply. Have emailed many many times chasing up things and out of 3-4 emails will only get one reply which is usually a brush off. They should be refunding people for their time wasted chasing up their ‘technical errors’. Could have been great but sadly very disappointed

My wife uses Zinio on her iPad running iOS 9.2 to read Soap World and other magazines. No problem until recently when the Zinio app was upgraded to 4.14.1. Now it crashes; sometimes on startup, sometimes when she gets to the magazine of interest. In short she can no longer read her magazines.

A disaster application! Run away fro ZINIO! i am so disappointed! i would like to read my journals on a plane with my new PC, i downloaded the latest version, downloaded several journals to read, and when i turned on the airplane mode: Disaster! you get a "go back' announcement or you get the pages with no images, just the text... for a Photography journal - this is ridiculous! i paid for several journals in advance and i would like my money back!

New Zinio App for Android is slow, less readeable and does not allow even screenshots of my favourite magazine that I bought !! On Windows 10 it appears they stopped service since i do not get any of this years editions shown. Really i will write the editors of the magazine again asking to change Zinio for a decent customer (reader) focussed app that works well across all devices and not Only For Apple ....

Recommendation: don't use Zinio. Company only communicates via email and simply never fixes any problems, just explains them away. Zinio app is terribly flawed taking minutes to bring up content, if ever, even after supposedly 'downloading' to the device. I don't know what happened to the company, but sometime between 2017 and now the way the company presents the service has changed and it's obvious they've broken it. Hundred of dollars of subscriptions, unreadable. Just terrible. and as to their response.. more blah blah blah..
