Zinio erroneously debited my PayPal…
Zinio erroneously debited my PayPal with 30 repeat transactions for a subscription I never ordered. They realised their system error and refunded the PayPal debits. But the transactions caused the bank to charge 30 x $10 dishonour fees. Zinio refuses to pay up and the bank maintains if was a legitimate transaction. So now I'm down $300 for Zinios careless systems.

#The worst app ever?
Possibly the worst app on the iOS or Android platforms I've ever come across. Tried to renew a magazine subscription yesterday, initially didn't recognise my password, when it recognised the password the payment process went through several iterations first on Mastercard - which it initially refused. This led me to use PayPal to pay for teh subscription, which apparently processed but gave no confirmation of accepting payment. The app took me back to the "buy" screen several times in a continuous loop, finally tried it again with Mastercard and it worked and provided conformation of payment but now I seem to have paid for the same subscription twice one with PayPal and again with Mastercard - has anyone at Zinio bothered to test their stupid app, it seems not.

I subscribed to eating well magazine…
I subscribed to eating well magazine print copy. I was told that zinio would be my platform for accessing the digital version. This is untrue.. their app does not work and their customer service sucks.

NEVER USE ZINIO
Zinio DOES NOT have a live customer service phone line to resolve issues. I purchased a magazine from them and the app - magazine keeps closing on my i pad. Essentially worthless. They e-mailed me saying they know they have a problem and told mer to log in on the Zinio.com app. That doesn’t work either. They refuse to offer a refund. Product doesn’t work. Customer service is only via e mail which is terrible. DONT EVER USE ZINIO.

I would need more information on the issue you are facing to further help you, however, if you have purchased directly via ZINIO and not via Apple or Googleplay and you are having technical difficulties which we can reproduce we will happily give you a refund if you are not 100% satisfied. Similarly by contacting Apple or Googleplay (if purchased via their platforms they normally refund under such conditions, however, ZINIO can not initiated an Apple or Googleplay refund this needs to be done by the customer. Bad product, bad customer service, misleading product promotion.
I bought a subscription to the New York Review of Books through Zinio thinking I would be getting the hard copy of the Review along with access to it on my iPhone and Mac. I guess I didn't read the "fine print." I feel misled. Then I had a technical problem (couldn't access the Review on both my Mac and iPhone), and it took 3 tries before a customer service representative could solve my problem. And don't even get me started on the amazingly clunky user interface! Oh, and Trustpilot sucks, too.

I would like to know how to get back…
I would like to know how to get back magazines that I had on Apple APP and now are all gone. These magazines spanned over a period of 5 years and I have lost all of them. The subscription did not expire until 3/19 but had to cancel since I no longer have access to them. This has been a total waste of money and why these magazines did this I will never know.

Hi Liz. Thanks for the review. So we can investigate this further please write to us, with the name of the magazine and app you are referring to. Zinio has two business lines 1) We sell magazines directly to customers and these are stored in the ZINIO app and 2) We provide apps to publishers, they give us a list of customers and these are displayed according to the publisher requirements in a Powered by ZINIO Pro App. Clearly in the first case ZINIO has complete control as you have purchased via us. In the second case we are dependant upon the publisher giving us the information of which customers have purchased, this is not in our direct control but in most cases publishers honour previous purchases. Please write to us so we can resolve this problem with you, if necessary working with the publisher.

I purchased a 17 issue subscription to…
I purchased a 17 issue subscription to 4wd action magazine which also includes a dvd with every magazine. Zinio's website says that when you purchase a magazine with dvd that you get the magazine immediately which I did and the dvd can take up to 48 hours which I thought fair enough. It's now been 7 days , I have contacted zinio which told me to contact 4wd action media which I thought was weird because when did this become my job and responsibility, but I did email them and have had no response in 5 days now. So I then replied back to zinio and no one has gotten back to me and that's also been 5 days. I've then sent another message to zinio and again to 4wd action media and still no response from either of them.so now I have another 4wd magazine arrive with no dvd again. This is rediculous. I want a refund or someone please give me my dvd downloads. This is what I paid for.
