A definite worthy takeout experience
So I was down in Dallas by JJ Lemmons Rd for the last 20 hours or so, without any restaurants I could order from because I guess, all the restaurant operators there decided to just give up on Amazon FTW1; and therefore I was in my semi truck in the rain camping overnight on the 20 freeway on ramp. Ok enough about what happened yesterday. Amazon FTW1 sucks. So I arrive here at 14:00 PM in Carrollton for a load pickup, and was dieing to order some take out, c'mon we're in Dallas! This should be the food mecca of the south. Lol and Behold, opened up Google. Searched for restaurants nearby, and proceeded to research which ones offered delivery in house. Sorry, I just don't trust the Uber Eats app. You never know if your food will get robbed. And so I found this Greek Restaurant with an inhouse link to order deliver through their website. Looks trustworthy, and the website looks well managed, so you know the owners give a damn about their business. Checked the pictures of the menu, looked good to me, and went ahead and ordered the chicken plate, greek fries and the eggplant ganoush. All in all, from placing the order to tracking, every stage of the process was seamless. I didn't feel like I was bamboozled, I felt I was paying money to an honest business that just wanted to get my food out to hungry me. And I guess in conjunction with Door Dash. The driver found my location, and the rest was a happy feast.
