YouScienceReviews of youscience.com

I had called with a question and after submitting it online I received a call quickly after. The representative was very friendly and knowledgeable.

For me, it was the quick responses and willingness to go above and beyond in every conversation. COVID put a halt to so many programs and activities, and reconnecting with YouScience was very smooth.

I am a high school counselor. This is my 30th year, and all but one of those years I have facilitated career exploration with middle and/or high school students. I have used several different programs throughout my career. YouScience is by far the most comprehensive and relevant when it comes to providing information about the user which can then be used to inform their decisions about career paths AND high school courses which will best prepare them for a 'good fit' career. Aptitude assessment results focus on the users' strengths and align them with occupations for which they have natural skills and abilities. The Interest Profiler activity incorporates the users' interest areas, producing results based on their interests. Together these results combine to give students multiple career options which would be satisfying fits for them. Of course, before I started facilitating YS with students, I took the same aptitude assessment the students would be taking. Sharing my results on a Smartboard helps students better understand their results. Most of my own assessment results were 'spot on.' The more I've learned about YouScience, the more excited I am for the students who have the opportunity to use this powerful career planning tool! Two thumbs up from an experienced school counselor!!

I have been teaching Career Exploration for over 14 years. Youscience is by far the best program I have used with my students. Youscience not only helps the students match careers with their interest but couples that with their aptitudes. Youscience has been a huge help for me and supplies tons of useful information for both the students and the teachers. I hope Youscience is around for a long time!

❌ I should never have been a pharmacist ❌ I confused proficiency with aptitude. When I was 18, I went to pharmacy school because I wanted: 1. A 6 figure salary 2. A doctorate degree 3. No corporate ladder I thought: • Passion was for starving artists • Nobody did what they truly loved for work • Pick a job that you can tolerate to give you a lifestyle you love • The only skills that matter in work are being smart enough to do the job No wonder I was miserable as a pharmacist for so long. This job was not for me. Yes, I could do the work well, but that didn't mean it was my ideal career choice. I confused proficiency with aptitude. Naturally, I've figured out my strengths & unique talents: • writing • teaching • presenting • thinking big • connecting with people I so wish I'd unlocked my superpowers 18 years ago when I was still in high school! Thank goodness YouScience is out there to better help teenagers & young adults better understand how to marry: -what they love -what they are good at -a true need in the world YouScience is doing an exceptional job with this problem exactly. I took their very in-depth aptitude test recently. My results were that I should indeed NOT have been a pharmacist (my gut told me that), but that I should consider: • broadcast media news anchor • business school professor • genetic counselor I laughed out loud when I saw how accurate those results were. I mean, combining those 3 suggestions is the job I naturally made for myself over the past 2 years as an entrepreneur. When students know their aptitudes, they find a new world of education options and best-fit in-demand careers to succeed better in school and life. I found this test fun to take (even as an old 36 year old) and very insightful in its results. I've never taken anything like this. I am glad to see early adoption from school districts to help high schoolers (& earlier) hone in on a career that will satisfy their unique strengths & interests.

Through the YouScience Discovery assessment, I was able fine-tune my aptitudes and career matches which have been beneficial in helping me look towards possible future job choices.

Aptitude tests are my favorite because I am in an ever continuing quest for self awareness and knowledge. The better you know yourself the better you know how your skills and talents fit into the world of business. This test really helped me find my foundation.
