Magda from "your dyslexia expert' has changed everything for Olivia znd for us as parents! The sessions feel different from what we expected or had already experienced with other professionals—they're warm, purposeful, and so clearly tailored to her. Magda understands not just dyslexia and dysorthography, but how they show up differently across Olivia's two languages. She addresses the exact places where French and English tangle in Olivia's mind, rather than treating the languages as separate problems. What moves us most is how Olivia has shifted. She looks forward to working with Magda. She's building real confidence—not from false praise, but from actually seeing her strategies work. Magda celebrates the wins without pretending the struggle isn't real, and Olivia feels genuinely heard and supported, not fixed. Magda gives Olivia permission to see her brain as different, not defective. That's everything at this age. The hard work feels manageable because Magda makes it feel possible, even hopeful. We're grateful beyond words for the care and expertise Magda brings to our daughter.

Mr. Hubble made an incredible difference in our son’s life. My son has ADHD and dyslexia, and before working with Mr. Hubble, he was unable to read. By the time their work together ended, my son was reading at nearly grade level—something that once felt so far out of reach. What makes Mr. Hubble truly special is that he understands how kids with dyslexia and ADHD learn. He has a unique ability to connect with them, build their confidence, and meet them where they are while still challenging them to grow. My son felt understood and supported, and that connection made such a difference in his willingness and ability to learn. I will always be grateful for the impact Mr. Hubble had on our son, not only as a reader but in his confidence as a learner. I would highly recommend him to any family looking for a tutor, especially for a child with dyslexia, ADHD, or other learning differences.

Troy has been a game-changer for our son with dyslexia. From day one, he met our child exactly where he was and built a clear, step-by-step plan that actually works. Troy’s sessions are structured, patient, and engaging—he uses multisensory strategies that finally “clicked,” and the progress has been undeniable. Our son’s decoding, fluency, and confidence have all taken off, and reading is no longer a daily battle. Troy also communicates thoughtfully with us after each lesson, sharing what they worked on and how we can support at home. His expertise is matched by genuine care, and it shows in our son’s growing pride every time he reads. We are incredibly grateful—Troy hasn’t just helped our son read; he’s opened the door to a whole new world of learning. Highly recommend!

When we moved into a new state & school district after 5 years in California, we discovered our child was lacking in basic core skills. It was partly a result of the unstructured curriculum in our old district, among other things. After the first school year working with Troy our daughter showed dramatic improvement in all phases of language arts. Learning basic decoding and root origins translated into spelling, reading and comprehension gains across the board. His teaching style and personality was a perfect match for our daughter, keeping her engaged and motivated. We couldn't be happier with the results. She's now near the top of the class in all recorded metrics. A dramatic improvement to say the least. Looking back on our own childhood education, we'd give anything to have received such important and critical language skills training at a young age.

Working with Troy was an incredible experience. He not only had a deep understanding of dyslexia and its challenges, but he also made sure each child felt truly seen, valued, and supported. His approach was patient, thoughtful, and tailored to individual needs, which made such a difference in the students’ confidence and growth. It’s rare to find someone who combines expertise with such genuine care. He truly goes above and beyond.

I reached out to Troy to help my son whom I suspect has dyslexia and dysgraphia. Although he has an IEP, I felt like more specific support was needed to help him progress. Troy not only understands ADHD but, as an experienced educator, was able to suggest IEP tweaks and additional resources for my son to use. We are still early in this journey but I believe we have the tools that he will need to keep learning and love it too.

After 4 years of no reading growth in school even with IEP pull-out supports we started a group tutoring class with Troy right before middle school. My son grew leaps and bounds in his reading abilities and confidence. Now as a junior in high school he is confident with the tools and time given to him to accommodate his dyslexia and anxiety. Furthermore, Troy always met my son where he was at that day. With social anxiety working in groups can be hard for him - Troy made the experience much more enjoyable and found ways to relate to my kid. Which really helped with his confidence.

I hired Troy to tutor my son who is a 6th grader and has severe dyslexia. I am so glad I found Troy, he is extremely knowledgeable, very patient and kind. My son is really enjoying working with him which speaks volumes! We have had tutors in the past and my son has not been as motivated and willing to do tutoring as he is now with Troy. Thank you Troy!
