I have enjoyed visiting this sauna several times. However today I was very disappointed as the weather was awful, and The Met Office had issued a second yellow weather warning for Merseyside, associated with Storm Austen, from 10am to 9pm, for strong winds and rain. I expected we would receive a message from Wyld Sauna saying we could stay home and exchange the booking for another day if necessary. Instead they messaged saying they are open and you cannot reschedule your appointment as per their rules. I find it irresponsible to encourage people to go when they should really stay home safely. I wished they would care for their customers and be flexible given the bad weather. I will not be going back.

This is one of my favourite things to do in Liverpool, such a friendly and sociable place - a really hot sauna with chilled tubs, barrels, buckets and showers and of course a dip in the docks. Recently expanded to provide two saunas on floating platforms and more changing areas and a larger area to swim in the dock. Tucked away nicely from the tourist areas. Salt rubs available and lockers, hairdryer, costume spinner. Excellent value from £10 for a full hour. I think a cafe is on the way too. I often come on my own and always made welcome, today was so lovely with Ruby and Peter on duty, Peter doing excellent work with the eucalyptus snowballs and fan-wafting. An easy bike along the prom from South Liverpool and lock bike to the railings. If I book a morning session, can recommend Moose diner near by for brunch afterwards.
