Software not very good in predicting non trending environment until after the matter. Buy and sell signals need to be more stringent and not relying the user to combine with other technical indicators in order to improve accuracy. Market can spend a long time in non trending environment, and there is no way to know if the next buy or sell signal is believable after multiple whipsaw. Losses in whipsaws often offset the gains.

Excellent customer support. So-so software

As the name implies, AbleTrend is effective only during trending periods. It holds the long trends, but so will every free trend indicator. It will give back most or all of the profits gained during shorter trend trades due to a wide stop loss. You would need to use a different indicator to point out probable market turns because that is not a strength of AbleTrend. I rate performance as average, but not worth the cost, because cheaper and even free indicators perform better.

software is great, but customer service...not so much. years ago, I bought a lifetime license. A couple of yeasrs go by and all of sudden I get a notice saying I have to pay a yearly maintenance fee. I would have never bought a lifetime license if I had known there would be an ongoing yearly maintenance fee. So, basically, I am leasing the software. Ablesys just calls it a maintenance fee. Another surprise was when they announced you can't change platforms without paying for new trading platform. One of the great things was being able to test out the software out on different trading platforms to find out which one suited my needs the best. Question I ask myself is "what difference does it make what platform I am using"? I can see charging a small fee to change platforms but charging full price is ridiculous!

Hi, I use Able nearly 10 years. But if I compare, the buy and sell signale are on the same level as the moving average from the bollinger band. I would prefer, that your algo produce signals on a better point. Maybe you have a algorithm, which get signals near the highs or lows of a trend. If you have, please let me know. And the ticks charts, which I would trade are not running. Best regards Thomas from Germany

I just want to use the esignal version in case you have been able to get it work. I didn´t like the ignorance from Ron, not wanted to talk to me after 8-10 times different call during Christmas time my Phone calls were refused ol hanged up 8-10 times. This is not customer friendle after being a customer for many years...

1. It could be easier to use 2. The size of displayed dates and prices should be larger, or at least have the ability to choose a larger/smaller font 3. There doesn't seem to any effort to improve the stock picking of the program. 4. Support is pretty good

Indicators often lag and the system does not do well in ranges or slow up or downward channels. Some indicators are questionable and further human analytics is needed to make money through following the ablesys indicators. However the support and resistance dots are often well placed on the chart and can show me key support and resistance levels that I did not already see. Overall it’s a great system and worth the money.
