dishonest ads, dishonest CS
heard about this company due to heavy social media advertising SALE spa. but as the boot that was advertised is one that would be helpful for my work and online research implied that they were a decent company, I clicked their link and added the only women's boot that they make in my size to my cart ... noted the 20% discount, but waited until the next business day to call and confirm sizing. even though the sale was still ongoing, the discount disappeared from my cart the next day, so when I called I asked about that as well. CS requested a screenshot of yesterday's cart... which I would have taken had I known that it was required for them to honor their own deals that they themselves are promoting. but as I'm without a time machine I can't jump through their random hoops alas. CS admitted that said boots had been marked down a few days ago, and reiterated their willingness to honor that deal if I could provide proof that I'd had the boots in my cart. what?!! why did she think I was calling if not for help with sizing and checking out. so false advertising+gaslighting. do not trust this company. if they aren't going to honor their own ads, they prob won't honor their warranty either. save your money and save yourself stress from dealing with scammers.
