One star rating is generous
As the old expression goes—the pen is heavier than the sword. And, still, it brings me a level of dismay to feel so inclined to do this. ‘We Level Up’ of Lawrenceville, NJ is, to put in lesser terms, a scam. It is a place that I would not wish upon my worst enemy to be a client of. You are tagged and stripped as soon as you sign the admission papers. Too inebriated? They’ll sign them for you. Some technicians are great and are an exception to this rather broad statement, but many are simply inept or just outright lazy. The representatives spoken to, prior to intake, are no more than salespeople or puppeteers. There is not an actual gym, as foretold. The equipment available is in many cases broken. The music equipment is in disarray or simply does not function as intended. The counselors are overwhelmed with caseloads and are difficult to establish appointments with. There are facilitators that are highly engaged, but many others that seem to have grown indifferent due to the burnout of redundancy of the programming. Common areas—kitchen, group rooms—are often unkempt. There is more interest in retention of customers than any other outcome. Be cautioned when they tell you the amount of days. They will exhaust every benefit of your insurance, until it runs out, and still send you a bill. Considering seven to ten days? Expect a month with little to no communication on discharge until you’re told to pack and are rushed out of the door.
